Dig up Lakiaros!

Lakiaros are very rare medicinal plants that used to grow up in the mountains of Drieghan. They were thought to have become extinct when a dark force contaminated the land there.

However, when the Drieghanese buried the Dragon’s Tooth and the blessed rain fell from the skies, the Lakiaro also started to appear again.

This "Miracle of Drieghan" not only started appearing again, but its range expanded to beyond the mountains and even into Kamasylvia. They remain relatively rare, so if you are out looking for Lakiaros, you might have to search wider than you would think.

To dig up the Lakiaro, you will have to play our newest minigame. If you find a Lakiaro, you can equip one of our new hoes (Manos Hoe, Dostter Hoe, or Dostter Steel Hoe) and interact with the Lakiaro to start the minigame.

The object of the minigame is to either find all of the roots of the Lakiaro, or dig up all of the dirt around the Lakiaro. If you are too rough while digging for the Lakiaro, you may damage it.

Simply left or right-click to dig up the Lakiaro. You will get a better reward the less damaged the Lakiaro end up. Besides, if you manage to dig up a perfectly intact Lakiaro root, you will be able to sell your reward for an exorbitant price!

So what are you waiting for, start digging!

There are seven types of Lakiaro. When you find a Lakiaro, you can interact with it to start digging.

The minigame to dig up a Lakiaro is tile-based. It can be a 12x12 grid or 14x14, depending on the type of Lakiaro you are digging up.

The objective of the minigame is to dig up the Lakiaro while damaging it as less as possible.

Depending of the remaining value of the Lakiaro after it is dug up, you will get different rewards.

The difficulty of the minigame will depend on the type of Lakiaro you are trying to dig up. More difficult Lakiaros will give a better reward.

Depending on the Lakiaro, the minigame could have a different number of stages or tiles.

Description

Digging up Pebbles

Dig Deeply (LMB)

Unlimited

You can dig up dirt and pebble, but you will damage the Lakiaro.

Your hoe’s durability will decrease.

(If your hoe’s durability is 0, you can keep digging but the hoe will not be able to use its enhancement effects.)

Dig Shallowly (RMB)

Depends on your hoe’s enhancement level You won’t damage the Lakiaro but you will not be able to dig up dirt or pebbles.

Depending of the remaining value of the Lakiaro after it is dug up, you will get different rewards.

If you manage to dig up an intact Primitive Lakiaro, you will get a reward worth 100 million Silver.

Lush High-quality Lakiaro and Lush Primitive Lakiaro are more difficult to dig up because the number of tiles in the game are greater. However, they will give better rewards.

You cannot be attacked while playing the Lakiaro minigame.

You cannot play the minigame if you have exceeded 150% of your weight limit.

You can go to NPC Dostter in Duvencrune to do the Lakiaro tutorial quests (Burning Thirst, Lakiaro for Research) to help you understand the minigame better.

A new gathering tool, Manos Hoe, has been added. Manos Hoe can be used to dig up Lakiaro roots.

Manos Hoe has been added to the Crafting Notes.

Manos Hoe can be enhanced with Black Stone (Weapon) and Concentrated Magical Black Stone (Weapon) to PEN (V) level.

As a Manos Hoe is enhanced, it will: cause less damage to the Lakiaro when digging deeply; be able to dig shallowly more times; have a greater Max Durability; dig up more area per each deep dig.

Manos Hoe can be manufactured. The ingredients are as follows.

Manos Hoe Ingredients Quantity
Shining Steel Hoe 1
Magical Shard 50
Metal Solvent 15
Manos 5

New gathering tools, Dostter Hoe and Dostter Steel Hoe, have been added. They can be used to dig up Lakiaro roots.

Dostter Steel Hoe can be enhanced with Black Stone (Weapon) and Concentrated Magical Black Stone (Weapon) to PEN (V) level.

You can buy Dostter Hoe and Dostter Steel Hoe from a Material vendor NPC in Duvencrune, Ahib Conflict Zone, or Marak Farm.

Guild Masters, not only Alliance leaders, will now be able to use guild skills (Call of the Lord, Horrors of Battle, Frenzied Fighter, Intimidating Force) in Node Wars and Conquest Wars.

[System]

If you dig up an intact Primitive Lakiaro, a world message will be sent out.

Every time you dig shallowly while digging up the Lakiaro, the number of shallow digs left will appear to you as a system message.
