For over a year we have been complaining in the old KaoKao forums about a series of skills that lead to mystic brain fart where she is inoperable and leaves her vulnerable in the "Please try again" position. Can we continue the thread now. kthnx

Is it still broken?

To be honest, I've tried a few other classes. I'm still a main mystic since release and yes whilst i do get the "Please try again" from mystic as well. Same is to be said by other classes I've tried. I believe its just a server connection related thing to be honest, where If the server doesn't get the right data at the right time it "times out" maybe ( idk I'm not a server maintainer etc its just a guess ). So it isn't an issue only partaking on mystic. 

The cause of this phenomenon is widely unknown by the players, but the result of this is the meme of the word "brrrrrrrr" which happens as well. Where you try a skill you hear a loud "brrrrrrr" noise and you skill goes on cool down whilst your sitting there like a sitting duck for the duration of your skill. 

For the reason that i think it might be a connection issue, I live basically walking distance from the servers. I rarely get this "please try again later" a lot of my polish etc friends with waaaaay worse internet I'm speaking of the 3k ms ping etc type people. Get this message at least a couple times a day.

It's not server issue, class is/was bugged since release. I was thinking about coming back to bdo and my succ mystic but well, if it's still a thing (AFTER 1 YEAR +) then I'll just pass.

This has been an on going issue on both mystic and striker. Honestly it's pathetic that it has been so long and they still haven't fixed it.

Its an issue where Mystic stuns herself. It happens when using back to back shard skills in quick succession (Roaring Tiger, Rage Hammer, and Wave Orb) while having 30 shards. The character uses the 30 shards on the first skill as it should, but then attempts to use the 30 shards on the second skill even though she no longer has any shards. This leads to an error in the programming which stuns herself.

The fix would come from making sure when a mystic tries to use the 30 shard version of a skill, but does not have the required shards, that the normal version is used and the character doesnt stun herself.

This is an incredibly important bug fix that should have been patched long ago. It is a very simple and easy to code bugfix. This bug changes the way mystic plays as we have to change our combos and gameplay to avoid stunning ourselves, which gets us killed and ruins a combo entirely.

It also happens during Crouching Wolfs iframe backstep portion of the skill while not having enough stamina. The backstep portion of Crouching Wolf consumes a set amount of stamina when used. When you are very low stamina, and dont have enough stamina to be able to use the backstep iframe portion of crouching wolf, if u attempt to use it, your character stuns herself.

This is once again a programming logic issue, and the fix is extraordinarily simple and easy to implement. If the player does not have enough stamina required to cast the backstep, simply do not allow them to cast it. Right now it lets you cast it but then stuns yourself similar to whats happening mentioned above with shard skills.

Has the player cast backstep -> does the player have the required stamina to cast backstep ->

if yes -> cast backstep and consume the required stamina

if no -> do not cast backstep and do not consume any stamina

01.07.2021- there is still problem and issue is not fixed

After 2 years they finally fixed it. Been in the test server since it went live cant get it to do "wait a moment" when dumping shards from tiger to wave orb.

so it is finally fixed better late then never i guess.

Yup they did fix it, went back to live servers and can get it 100% of the time. switched back and cant get it to do it but 3 times out of 100 and i think that is actual server d-sync not the skill bug.
