Hello, i'm having an issue an issue with the client.

I'm playing BDO with a Steam account and since the last update my client's update is stuck at 0% or 1% and i got an error text saying " Invalid client version ".

Here's what i tried without succes, not necessarily in that order.

- Restart the computer

- Restart Steam

- Restart the launcher

- Scan files

- Let run overnight

- Uninstall and reinstall

I'm running out of ideas on what i can try, is anyone else experimenting the same issue ?

Note : I reached the Customer Service but i do not have an answer yet.

Hello,

I have exactly the same problem. Last time I had this problem, I managed to reconnect to the game overnight, not understanding where the problem was coming from, and was able to play for a few hours.

After that I signed out and reconnected several times without any issues. The update of Wednesday 10/03/21 took place. So I waited and when the maintenance was finished, I made my update via steam, I then launched the launcher via steam, which launched me a download of 96.34 MB.
But after that, my launcher didn't let me play because it's marked AGAIN "invalid client version". Tried examining the files (again since the last time I had this problem), relaunched the launcher, which relaunched the 96.34MB download AGAIN, but it still is written that the client version is invalid.
I tried to restart my pc, tried to repair by Steam, etc ... restarted the launcher without going through steam (in the local game folder in steamapp / common), I can't do anything again... Here is the screen of my launcher which tells me that my version is invalid.

UPDATE: I can log in again, BUT !! I had to go through countless downloads (steam repair, review and re-download of more than 2 Gb via the launcher, closing / opening the launcher, RE-DOWNLOADING 2 GB OF THE SAME FILES because I have the impression that it doesn't save the files). After all that, either the launcher continue saying that I still don't have the correct version, or it lets me log in. If I log in, I can play without any problem. But as soon as I log out , we start again on Russian roulette, because I have to redo ALL that I mentioned to you above, and I cross my fingers so that it works again, sometimes it works from the first try, sometimes I find myself 2 hours tried to redo everything... Or worst : I doesn't let me log and I have to repeat everything AGAIN. So it's not because I managed to connect and play for a while that my problem is solved. (Because my last ticket was closed because the assistant saw that I was able to log)

I have the exact same issue.

I restarted the pc, the client and my internet etc.

I redownloaded the game and it doesn't even start downloading, same for scanning files.

With everything and anything i do it gets stuck at 1%....
