Ever since we got the new launcher and anti-cheat after the transfer, I've been running into an issue consistently where when leaving BDO open for a long time certain aspects of my computer run noticeably slower. Opening browsers, links from discord, applications (like task manager) all take 5-10x longer than usual. I think it's a memory leak because restarting the computer clears this issue, but even before restart my RAM shows only like 10/32GB usage so I'm not 100% sure.

Re-opening BDO doesn't fix it, but I wouldn't expect it to since there are so many lingering processes even after closing the game - and if it IS a memory leak it wouldn't fix it anyways.

If reopening bdo ain't fixes it, then it's not related to bdo, but one of your other apps have an issue.

There is no lingering processes. If you close bdo (properly) then all rescource it uses will be freed, and no process will continoue running. That would be a bug otherwise.

If it would be a memory leak, you would see it in the process explorer. (the application in the question would grow in memory usage continously)

BDO does have a memory leak actually but if re-opening doesnt fix it, thats not the only problem you have...

Try updating apps & drivers maybe that helps...

If not, you can always use malwarebytes and defraggler to clean up your pc.

So I've been monitoring my resource usage and I noticed that on CPU restart BDO uses~4.5GB of RAM, but when the "lag issues" start happening BDO is using 10+ GB consistently. I'm still nowhere near capped on my 32GB max RAM, but it also seems like from the resource monitor that only ~8GB of RAM is "committed" for BDO. I wonder if it has something to do with this.

Edit: Talked to some guildies and it seems like playing on remastered can give memory leak issues similar to mine. Going to try and play on very high and or re-install intelli standby list cleaner to try to solve the problem. Will update with solution hopefully.

Edit2: No luck with intelli standby list cleaner. Memory usage still steadily climbs over several days and system gets slower and slower.
