I am playing BDO for over a year and I still haven't finished the Valtarra training manual yet, because I can't do it alone. I am not in a guild, because I am mostly AFK skill training so I can't ask guild members to help me. I have asked in group/server chat many times if someone wants to help, but I never get any response.

I hate it that I can't progress, because I need a party to activate the quest. No doubt the Valtarra training manual quest can be done alone (as it's ranked at lvl58) so they should not lock me out of it.

simply make tyhe 'party quests' as advised and not mandatory.

The biggest problem with party content in bdo is that it requires very good equipment (at least soft cap) and ... it's unprofitable so no one wants to do it.

Many times players suggested to change / add single player mode to aob, valtarra and savage.

Theres only 1 option for it... They have to rework the rewards for these things.

The party content they have is pretty good, but the rewards just suck and that's why nobody wants to do them.

However, if you still need help and you're on EU I can help you out (possibly with a guildie for 3some).

I strongly disagree with castracting group content and making it solo. We already have too little group content and lowering its amount goes in the wrong direction.

What we need is more up to date rewards for existing content.

In the meanwhile, OP can look for an AFK friendly guild and get the job done.

Was going to say, If you want help doing it Just msg me, but I'm on NA and you are on EU.  

What you can do is go into one of the chat channels, ask if anyone wants to do it, if you get no response, swap to another chat channel after 5 minutes.  Someone is likely wanting to do that quest probably a lot of someones.

I don't care about a reward. It is listed as a quest that I simply want to scratch off the list and the quest seems doable alone. They can add an other 'non quest' version of the scroll that is intended for parties.

There always will be quests that I can't do solo, I am also stuck at  'investigate the Mark Tree' because my gear is not good enough, but funny enough that quest can be done alone without a party.

to OP:

there is an in-game party finder. use it. 

In game party finder is useless, especially for this aspect.  For Turos, and Castle ruins spots it's slightly useful, but not very.  However for this aspect, I sat with that party finder up for 6 weeks before someone messaged me about doing it.
