Event Information

Recreate historical works of art by combining character appearances, backgrounds, props, and your attendants with your own creative touch! 

⭐ Recreation Criteria

✅ Artworks created over 100 years ago (prior to 1926)
✅ Limited to paintings or sculptures that include a person.

🚫 Ineligible Artworks

Pure landscapes, still lifes, animals, or any works that do not include a person will not be accepted.

How to Participate

Step 1

Choose a masterpiece from over 100 years ago to recreate. 

Recreate the artwork using in-game features such as customization, dyeing, outfit combinations, attendants, and backgrounds, then take a screenshot.

- If your entry is found to meet any of the criteria below, your selection may be canceled and rewards may be retrieved even after winners are announced

  • Pearl Abyss is not responsible for any disadvantages resulting from the unauthorized use of external materials without the copyright holder's consent, or from infringement of intellectual property rights or portrait rights. Selection may be canceled and all rewards may be retrieved. 
  •  Images composited or generated using AI programs, etc.
  • Content that violates the [Black Desert Terms of Service], including illegal, promotional, or commercial content. 
  • Content containing elements that are socially unacceptable, sexually explicit, or antisocial in nature. 
  • Content that inappropriately modifies or damages the Black Desert IP.
  • Content deemed inappropriate at Pearl Abyss' discretion.
Step 2

Post your work on the forum in [Art & Media > Event] section.

✅ (Required) You must include the [Masterpiece] tag & your region ([EU] or [NA]) and the name of the recreated artwork in the title (e.g., [EU] [Masterpiece] Mona Lisa)
✅ (Required) Attach both your in-game screenshot and the image of the original masterpiece you recreated.

💡 TIP | Entries will be judged based on overall factors, including how closely they match the original masterpiece and the originality of your reinterpretation. 

Step 3

Include the following details in the body of your post.

└ Title of the masterpiece you recreated
└ Key points of your recreation and a short creator's note
└ The 'Family Name' of any other Adventurers who participated with you
