New Additions & Improvements

Sorceress
We've focused on improving Succession Sorceress, as she has lacked a distinct role in many combat situations.
Since her combat style combines both ranged and melee attacks, we aimed to make her ranged skills provide more stable control. To that end, the difficult-to-use Storming Crow can now be replaced with Prime: Bloody Calamity, which now provides both defensive effect and debuff to better counter enemies with AoE crowd control and ranged knockdowns. Additionally, Prime: Dream of Doom has been given Super Armor, allowing it to be cast more safely.

  • Changed so you now press W + C to combo into Prime: Violation.
 
Absolute Darkness, Black Wave
  • Black Wave - Changed the key command to S + RMB. Absolute Darkness - Changed so it now activates when repeatedly using Sinister Energy.
  • Absolute Darkness - Removed the Magic Damage Reduction on hits debuff. Adjusted the skill damage accordingly.

Valkyrie
We've adjusted Succession Valkyrie to enhance her ability to engage or disengage, while also expanding the skills available for combos.
Succession: Ultimate Righteous Charge now grants immunity to CC from rear attacks, providing an additional option for safely advancing or retreating. Furthermore, improvements have been made so that Prime: Judgment of Light and Prime: Divine Power can be comboed together, allowing her to maintain defensive effects while dealing damage in combos.

Corsair
In PvE, Corsair has seen improvements to skill combos and a rebalancing of damage distribution. Previously, her Abyssal Legacy skill and Skill Enhancement (Rabam skills) contributed significantly to Corsair's overall damage. As a result, both Succession and Awakening Corsair had to rely on these skills to maximize their damage output. With this update, the damage from those specific skills has been reduced and redistributed across Succession and Awakening skills, while the damage of main Succession and Awakening skills has been increased.

For Corsair Awakening, combos now flow more smoothly, letting you deal more damage by mixing up a wider range of skills. Movement skills like Tide-splitter Patraca and Sun-shielder Patraca have been made easier to use, and Pirate's Life For Me—which is often used before Ocean's Allure—now has a shorter cooldown. However, if you use Pirate's Life For Me while it's still on cooldown, its damage will be reduced.

Nova
Awakening Nova's mobility has been improved in this update. In the previous patch, Twisted Orbit could no longer be used during cooldown, and movement was removed from Royal Fencing: Riposte, which weakened Nova's hit-and-run playstyle. Even in Accel. state, this playstyle felt less distinctive. To address this—without making the class harder to control—we've focused on enhancing mobility around Accel: Break Orbit, allowing Nova to move more freely and effectively.

Wukong
For Wukong, there were cases where the "Wukong's Hair" buff caused unintended movement, as hitting an enemy with the Power Pole would trigger a dash in an unwanted direction. Now, if you lock Celestial Nectar, the dash effect will no longer activate on hit, giving you more control over how you use the skill. (The Summon shadows effect from Celestial Nectar will still activate, regardless of the lock setting.)

We've also improved It Ain't Over! in the Fighting Buddha state. Now, Wukong will move a fixed distance—just like he does in his normal state—regardless of the "Wukong's Hair" buff. This change makes it easier to position yourself and apply debuffs in PvP.

Contents

Since the last update that increased the maximum Contribution Points, we've seen a growing interest in earning CP. In today's update, we've made it easier to gain Contribution EXP for players with less than 500 CP. Additionally, we've increased the Contribution EXP rewarded for completing main quests, making it easier for new adventurers to earn and use Contribution Points as they progress.

Throne of Edana

We're making a few changes to the Throne of Edana content, especially in regards to the Final Challenger determined in each castle of Edania. First, to give adventurers more time to plan their participation, we’re extending both the registration period and the validity period for Edana Rising Tokens. We've also adjusted some settings related to the dark fog to encourage more dynamic combat on the battlefield. Finally, the battlefield location for the Throne of Edana in Orbita Castle has been changed.

Changes to Fish Catches in Certain Regions            

  • Changed so Bass can now appear instead of Sandeel in Yzrahid Highlands.            
  • Changed so Hammer Mackerel no longer appears near the God of Fishing at Velia Beach.            
  • Hammer Mackerel can still be caught in nearby seas around Velia.            
  • Blue Bat Star and Yellow Corvina can now be caught near the God of Fishing.            
  • Removed Golden Albacore from Heidel waters near the storage keeper.            
    • As a result, Pirarucu's catch rate has been roughly doubled.            
  • Changed so Pink Dolphin can now appear instead of White Grouper and Albino Coelacanth in Upper Grána.            
  • Removed White Grouper from Lake Flondor and its tributaries.            
    • As a result, Pink Dolphin's catch rate has been roughly quadrupled.

  • Increased the number of items usable with the Fairy's Continuous Care V from 20 to 25.
 
  • Added a chance to obtain Lightstone of Fire: Twisted when crafting Purified Lightstone of Fire via Alchemy in your residence.
 
  • Changed Prized Catch fish, specifically Polka-dot Stingray and Pinecone Fish, so they can no longer be delivered via Imperial Delivery.
    • Adventurers who delivered these fish via Imperial Delivery between the Aug 28 (Thu) & Sept 18 (Thu) maintenance have been compensated with the Silver difference between Trade Delivery and Imperial Delivery, which has been sent to their Central Market warehouse.
 
  • Added the following items to the exchange list for Dark Spirit's Greed in Manage Currency:

Zephyros Castle

  • Added a reward mechanic for defeating Beelzebub in the Zephyros Castle monster zone.
 
  • Added a new effect in Zephyros Castle monster zone where the ground darkens when the Hatchery releases Caphras' Energy during combat.
    • This effect persists until the reward mechanic that appears after defeating Beelzebub ends.
  • Reduced the damage of certain Zephyros Castle monster attacks by 20%, and increased their Guard Extra Damage by 10%.
  • Added 30% Guard Extra Damage to Beelzebub's attacks.
  • Changed Beelzebub spawn requirement so that one additional group of Hatchery monsters must be defeated.
  • Improved the death animation for Shadow Knights to look more natural.
  • Adjusted item drop rates from monsters in Zephyros Castle monster zone to match the new mechanics.

Tenebraum Castle

  • Widened the Manticore’s attack area after it’s liberated from mind control, now targeting the Ancient Ator Remnants.
  • Reduced the time it takes for Manticore to be sealed at the altar after the Ancient Ator Remnants defeat mechanic ends.
  • Improved so that if the Remnants are not defeated for a long time when the Manticore's HP reaches 70% or 40%, the monster zone will reset.
  • Changed it so that Ancient Ator Remnants disappear more quickly after being defeated.



 

Quest & Knowledge

Edania Sub-Quests  

  • Added new quests to Edania.
    • Added a quest about the rations thief and his background.  
    • Added a quest exploring the Hashashins' funeral rites and their significance.  
 
  • Changed so that the "Change Black Spirit's Appearance" feature unlocks after completing all Edania main quests.

World Map (M) UI Improvements

  • Overhauled the the World Map (M) for more intuitive and convenient controls.
    • Rearranged menu button layout
      • Organized the World Map UI into three groups: function, filter, and mode
    • Improved filters
      • Consolidated all filters into a single group, now expanded by selecting the "filter" button at the top left of the screen.
    • Relocated function buttons
      • Relocated key function buttons to the top middle of the screen.
    • Relocated mode buttons
      • Relocated mode change buttons to the top right of the screen.
    • New UI elements
      • Added "Find My Location" button and a scroll bar for zoom in/out levels at the bottom right of the screen.
    • Improved Knowledge icon display
      • At default zoom: shows individual icons
      • At +2 zoom out: icons grouped by node
      • At further zoom out: icons grouped by territory
      • Pressing grouped icons will display a Knowledge list for that region
 

 
  • Improved the Title menu.
    • Titles in the list now display in their actual color when applied.
    • Newly obtained titles will show a "new today" icon in both the tab and title list, and appear at the very top of the list.
    • Adjusted the wait time for applying or removing titles from 60 sec to 30 sec.
 
  • Fixed the issue where the glow color of titles above the character’s head was always blue; it now changes to match the title's color.



 

Web

  • Improved the OTP Settings Complete UI and added a button for quick mobile number registration.
  • Improved the forum category menu UI on the official website for mobile users.
  • Improved the official website so image and video slide pop-ups can now be closed with the Esc key.

  • You can now acquire this Knowledge by interacting with the slate after completing the "[Zephyros] Ambushed!" main quest.

  • Fixed the awkward placement of Goyen at Crossroads of Defiance.

  • Fixed the issue where Failed Edana NPCs selling Marni's Realm entry scrolls in Edania could not be found after adventurers left the area and came back.

  • Fixed the issue where Ancient Ator Remnants would sometimes not be defeated and remain in Tenebraum Castle.
  • Fixed the issue where monsters in Tenebraum Castle would occasionally not return to their spawn location and become unkillable.
  • Fixed awkward background visuals at certain locations in the Golden Pig Cave of the Land of the Morning Light.
  • Fixed the issue where the camera angle on the Edania Abyssal Veins NPC appeared awkward.
