Coming up on the 2nd Anniversary..... of this musical debacle. It's a harrowing thought that I have played this game for 4 years now.... 2 of which I have had to suffer when listening to the music.
Hard to appreciate that, or where this game has been heading these past two years.....
Just recently discovered Traitor's Graveyard at Hexe Sanctuary.... boy, fighting here must have been a blast when it was released, with the music being fitting for a place such as this, and with the battle music actually playing.
The idea that "regional" music can play anywhere in the region and make it feel appropriate is lame at best, especially since the regions have quite a diverse places that have their own distinct feel. Nothing creates a proper setting and mood than music. If one is to grind for hours, why not have appropriate music play?
Now, it drains me to battle in alomost any region, because half the time the music is ruining the mood. Dreighan is ok, except at the Tshira Ruins.... everywhere else hurts...
Please, PA, find it in your hearts and schedules to fix this glaring issue: the music does not do it's job in the current implementation,
Two years now..............
I was really hoping I would only have to suffer for two months.
I'm just so suprised that PA doesn't give a darn about how poorly the music fits the circumstances half the time. It's objectively bad art. This really can't help with overall longetivity for the game, as it really ruins immersion.
Hopefully, I won't have to be commenting on this next April 13th.....
