This is true, but also a little wrong. When you PvP for the spot you win the spot. The spot is the progress. If you lose you go to less profitable spot or rotation. Also RBF gives you xp and some silver too.
Yes, but what I mean is that it's impossible to progress by PvP only.
In the open world, even if you PvP for a spot, the ressources eventually come from the mobs themselves. What you actually do is pushing away concurrence on finite ressources with PvP to maximize your PvE gains, where the real wealth comes from. It's not a full loot gain so just killing the player doesn't directly increase your wealth by taking their belongings.
Regarding RBF, yes you can get some money, XP and SP, energy and even some ancien spirit dust with the dailies, but these gains are so marginal compared to what you can make in PvE that you play this mode for sports / fun mainly, not as a viable progression path. Morevoer, the gear the strongest players use to perform in RBF was acquired by hours of grinding in PvE mainly, with lifeskills on the side, not by playing RBF by itself.
Long story short, you can make the choice of not engaging in PvP in BDO, but you cannot skip PvE, even if your final objective is actually fighting against other players (AOS aside, as explained in my previous post).
Active fishing with a boat is the only times you need to get specific titles or fish which would 9/10 times be harpooning. Also stated you have to be active for harpooning.
Nope. If you want all titles from Balenos fishes you need fising in red zone. And we are talking about a fishing rod, not a harpoon.
We have: balenos river, crab area, amberjack area, flouder area. And there are also other zones besides Balenos.
And now let's look at deep sea. Maaaaaany fishes for titles. Rod and harpoon. To use a harpoon you have to use a pseudo-boat - a fish boat. She practically stands still instead of swimming, you will go to the deep sea, someone will kill you, destroy the boat and you are left in the middle of the ocean. Och great. Only one hour to get back to where you were plus loss of caught fish (death destroys trade items). So you "immediately want to play more". ROTFL.

Crabs can be gotten by velia in a safe zone, flounder you can also get a safe zone iirc you get it at illya island and oquilla island which both have safe zones. Amberjack also can be gotten in a safe zone called illya island...any legitimate fishing rod fish you going to name that supposedly cant be gotten. Also the crabs can be gotten during the teramin event . All are common knowledge also stated on the tool tip.
Next "unsafe" fishing rod fish you want to name?

Yep all the mangoria stuff you need a boat an harpoon, otherwise you can fish them all in safe zones, port ratt, islands beside port rat and oquilla island annd illya island :) do some research.
Edit: i assume you havent gotten even 30% of the fishing titles?
Since im sitting on over 1k titles with 45%+ from fishing check all the titles, the ones with harpoon which makes up about 45 to 50% of fishing titles. The rest can be done in all safe zones exception of titles from events never done harpooning an never fished out side of a safezone over night tbf
Flounder:Arehaza Town(where i did it)

it's not enough to give 1 server for pve. it will be too popular. so if you make such servers, then at least 4-5 channels.
I want to say that there is no point in creating separate channels. it is enough to add an item to the game that, for silver, will protect against PvP.
if you want to earn more, you have to take risks. if you want a safe game - pay silver.

As said by many other players. PA will not do this. They will not. So please try to coexist together and adapt.
The reason is , its always been stated by developers they view the BDO as a PvX mmorpg, they start changing the fundamentals of the game what alse will they change in the process. Also why isnt season enough, why isnt safe zones a enough, why isnt marnis realm enough ?
Karma system is another thing.
Their views always expand an still the same comments are made "we keep being killed when we put our selves into the situation".
PA have obliged on seasons an marni realm even though it wasnt part of their vision.
They have had year on year additions so the "PvE players" dont get killed , they are already fully protected. Why do they want more when they are fully protected now. Have multiple alternatives. Also i pointed out there was no reason to be in a unsafe zone for training, fishing an most other lifeskills. If it aint broke why "try" fix it. Everyone knows full well they add a PvE server outside of seasons that the "PvE" community will ask for more. PA has already shown they will rush it an break things outside of said content. Magnus is a big example.
Edit: Also on cannon team an flex i have the disconnects so no its not just people in main ball with large amounts of people. As far as i can tell they use a priority system, first in first serve higher latency = higher chance of issues.
and they also said that there would be no teleports here. times change
