do you know how to catch a horse by use of gamepad? I have tried many many times, every time fails, no fun. I don't know how to continue after RB catching, chaotic combination of A and B every time fails in the end, this part of game is really annoying for me, gives no fun

I've tried many times, what works in Magnus, it doesn't work with just catching horses, each

 attempt failed, with just catching A, the pointer goes ultra fast through the right area, if it succeeds, the horse still jumps up immediately and each time 'taming failed' message appears. Magnus encouraged me to catch horses, trying outside of Magnus put me off again, gamepad catching is hopelessly annoying, I'll never go back to it.

Are you waiting for the horse to rear up to press A?  If you don't, it will fail every time (I'm assuming A replaces SPACE. since I don't have a pad.

that's right, there's just a big difference in difficulty between Magnus and the ordinary world, otherwise it wouldn't work in Magnus either, I only play with a gamepad and I don't want to learn how to play with the keyboard again to catch horses, I prefer to get them in other ways

I'll have to do the Magnus again to check, but from what I remember, there is no difference between catching a horse during the Magnus quest and in the game world. 

If anything, the Magnus is more annoying because you can't quick-slot your rope and sugar.
