Suggestion/Comments:

It is not healthy for defense stats to lag behind offense in the way it has been trending. It is at the point to where no CC or just 1 CC is required for some classes to kill in less than 5 to 10 seconds. While addressing those outlying damage dealing classes is good, the balance between defense and offense isn't in a good state. Even the remaining Slumbering Origin Armors that have yet to be released, may likely fail to remedy the issue if the problem is not addressed. You may refuse to touch how DR and evasion scale, but just remember that you have other ways to tackle the issue that don't involve creating new items.

You could:

1) Apply a percent-based damage reduction bonus to the state of Super Armor for all classes. This could alleviate some of the issue with classes killing without needing to CC their opponent. Something like this could be a flat effect of 50% or it could scale with the individuals DR points. Example for scaling: Every 80 points of Damage Reduction equal 10% damage reduced while in the Super Armor state, with the reduction effect capped to 50%.

Super Armor obtained as a duration buff should be excluded from this type of bonus.

Skills that possess Super Armor duration buff effect include:

- Prime: Omua's Aura, Omua's Blessing, Combust Life, Prime: Rift Chain, and Prime: Optimization.

2) Adjust the HP bonuses of leveling up Health through food. The system currently has each level of Health grants a bonus 10 HP and has been an untouched system for a long time. Consider significantly increasing the amount of HP gained per level, since the baseline for damage and defense have steadily increased over the years while HP has not. Values of 200 Health per level should be considered, and while those values would be quite high, the amount of total HP a character would have would still not exceed that of a Tier 8 Horse or Dream Horse, which still dies relatively quickly despite their large health pool.

Also take into account that certain classes with very high base health, high healing capabilities, virtually unlimited stamina coupled with mobility, or high invincibility uptime may need adjustments.

If this is applied, also consider expanding on the Injury System that Black Spirit Rage skills possess by applying the injury effect as a buff that accompanies the Rage Absorb effect. This buff should make it so any attack dealt with it active results in applying injury that corresponds to the 100% or 200% absorb/skill that was used.

3) Review the class-to-class damage dealt/recieved modifiers alongside the above to ensure no class is immortal or dealing too much damage, especially after a CC.

i like it the way it is. Its easier for me to realize X opponent will obliterate me and i should just switch channel and not waste my time.

Why bother if you can just do "new season" now with Awakening of twin sisters! ( cashing twice from class, why not) and "target audience" still will pay for season pass, easy money with zero efforts, while class balance require rewriting whole game engine  at this point.

I understand how you feel, but we shouldn't give in to total apathy and continue to push PA to do better where they can. Them addressing ridiculous damage scaling is 100% within their power to fix, so they should be doing it. This wouldn't require an engine overhaul either.

First of all, majority of balance lay heavily into exploiting FPS/MM/Hotbar/screenshot/anicancel that is directly based on game engine - aka balance might be good on PA's test server in Korea w/o any exploits which you forced to use in order to pvp, so here we have 2 differnt games, PA's might be good.

Second - this is PA publisher forums, which PA developers don't even know exist, and PA publsiher don't bother to check it out as well.

Third - PA developer officially said that "calculating DP is to difficult" so git gut and die 1 shot or run uncap evasion and don't get hit by 100 ppl while you kill them all  in 1shot ( if they don't run evasion).

When you know there is no hope, its not giving up.

Your over estimating evasion. For the amount of evasion to be tanky unless your two specific classes you aint one shotting no one . To much accuracy and damage for either defence type to be usable rn even in uncapped.

This post is meant to bring attention to Pearl Abyss on the fact that they do not need to touch DP scaling calculations to address damage being out of control.

Attention to who ? To developers who intentionally hide damage numbers so you can't prove anything ?

Step 1 to fix any balance issue - enable combat logs - they will never do this even if they would be forced by laws to show it, they would  preffer to restrict access to countries with this law ( like lost ark with lootbox law).

Look, here is my point, DP/DR issue don't exist, its working fine, main problem is that special attack damage don't include DP into calculation ( codding error), that kinda explains why "new special attack damage" offhand is better than blackstar/kutum. But because they hide combat logs you can't prove it, therefore you can't force them ( by shaming) to fix it
