One of the biggest issues nowadays is the enormous amount of protection that they added over years to most of the classes.

Now, they try to balance it by adding more damage which is absurd, it is not even a mechanic. It probably suited better than removing CC protection to let players feel losing their power.

First, they have to balance CC protection, then they can balance damage. The current state is insane and a lot of classes are catchable only in grabs if so.

It's also good to mention, the damage of some specific classes is hard to compare. Some classes don't have an issue against any class, some others can barely hit meta classes even if they are overgeared.
