Issue:
1) Awakening and succession glamour is bugged depending on the player's relative position to others and stance.
2) Player Cape toggle does not work under certain circumstances.
Repeatable: Always
Test Case:
- Tested with a Lahn, Land of the Morning Light costume
- Test area from Heidel Storage keeper to outskirts of town (running back and forth as described later)
Part 1: Hide / Show cape
While toggling the cape, it will not show the change to any player nearby. In order to see the toggled visibility (hide / show) the other player(s) must first leave the character's rendered area and come back in. In this instance I would leave town and come back to see the cape's visibility.
Swapping characters at the exact same location will reload the cape's status and show the correct cape visibility.
Part 2: Succession vs awakening costume
Note: Whenever I mention (observer) player I mean the player who is observing the one with the outfit.
When the player swaps from Succession to awakening, a different costume is shown, this is expected. By default this works because the player is in combat stance. However, if the player is not in combat stance (sheathed weapon) and another player enters the area, they will not see the awakening outfit but rather see succession. If the (observer) player enters the area where the other player is in combat awakening stance, they will see the awakening outfit. To reiterate, as long as the player swaps between awakening and succession while the observer is nearby, the observer will see the correct costume, otherwise it defaults to succession.
Swapping characters (character select for example) at the same location will default to succession outfit for the (observer) player if the other player is not in combat stance.
Other information:
This may be the case for every outfit / awakening vs succession condition in the game. I have not tested this. Also below is the map where we were testing this. The Rendered area is basically where character data is presumably loaded whenever entered. I went to the stables just to be sure i was properly loading and unloading the data. If you have further questions, I'll be happy to elaborate or test more conditionals. Thank you!
Player 2 = Observer, Player 1 = Person with cape / awakening costume etc...
