Hi guys, 
I just started this game (30day trial). Dark knight, lvl 20, Olvia servers. I'm positively surprised by this game. I was expecting another WoW clone but this game is really "refreshing" (combo based combat, great graphics/music, a lot of activities). I'm learning the game fast with help of Youtube guides.

But I have problem with this game regarding connection/lags!
1.) I was downloading game client about 7 times.
     - download started like 3Mbyte/s but it got to 0.1Kbyte/s in 30minutes
     - I had to restart. Luckily client continued from last file, but same situation.. 3Mb/s, then fall down to 0.1Kbyte/s
     - there was no other application occupying network
2.) Fights are very "clunky" for me
     - I attack enemies with combos, they are still standing after 3-4hits, however I can already see "Down attack" messages, then suddenly they fell down after few secs (even if I stop attacking)
     - Boss fights are annoying, boss is sometimes not moving for 10seconds, then suddenly "forward rewind" happens, my life goes down ~10% (boss attacks are accounted in suddenly)
3.) I'm getting disconnect screen/timeout about once per hour. Luckily it reconnects after ~20seconds.
4.) When I'm presing "R" during quests there is sometimes 3-6second delay!

QUESTION: Is this network behavior normal in Black desert? Are servers overloaded?
     - I checked "Resource Monitor" and see BlackDesert latency 50-80ms.
     - I have Ryzen R5 3600, 16GB Ram, 1GB SSD, GPU RX 470.
     - I play in EU(Slovakia) and I have decent network connection (40/4Mbit). I usualy download files 3-5Mbyte/s. Have no lag in other games/applications.

40/4 is not a decent network connection. It maybe was a decade ago, but today no.

You can safely ignore previous poster which is a resident troll and also clueless about basic IT: apart from downloading the game or updating it, any xDSL link is fine since a MMO consumes about 100Kbytes/s. Wha you might have been experiencing is throttling from your ISP, do you have a restrcited data plan ?

BUT those disconnects/lags annoyed me so much I did QUIT Black desert on PC for good! 

Problem is I started LifeSkilling in Valia, and I was not able to access "Worker vendor", reroll worker etc. It seems to me that big towns are overcrowded (maybe because of AFK players?). I had less issues in countryside..

However I started playing on PS4.. oh, what a difference! No lags, everything runs smoothly.
