Recently moved.  ISP can't hook up fiber 'til next week Monday.  For lack of BDO silver income, I decided to dust off the old PS3 and playthrough a game I bought, but never finished.  And holy Toledo.  This solo 1st Person Shooter is probably one of my favorite games of all time now, and I haven't even finished it all yet.

Game is Bioshock: Infinite.  And it's a blast! (no pun intended)

I highly, highly recommend playing through this beautifully designed 1st Person Shooter, with one of the most engaging, gripping, and immersive story-telling I've experienced in a long time.  Even if the game is almost a decade old, it's graphics still hold up...there's some gorgeous lighting effects, nice particle effects - the charcaters' faces have a low polygon count by today's standards, but it's easily overlooked by the top-tier attention to detail.  Elizabeth's body language, the way she'll peer into windows or look over a ledge while you're idle, the "damsel in distress" look on her face...the gunplay is also quite solid IMO.  The choices you're forced to make don't really affect the actual gameplay or story, but stick with you for the feels and your sense of personal morality.  The Golden Tower escape segment is one of the most heart-pounding and immerive experiences I've had in a long time in a video game.  And zipping along on the Skylines sucks you in.  Hell, the whole game and it's narrative does!

I guess the "grind, RBF, Node War" loop got to me and made my video gaming quite stale and "just going through the motions" as of late.  Almost forgot how immersive a single player game with a gripping narrative and presentation of the story can be. 

If you've never played through Bioshock: Infinite before, and like that "being the hero" feel, I highly suggest putting on the shoes of Booker DeWitt, shooting and sneaking your way through the masterfully designed floating city of Columbia and this beautifully told story.  You won't regret it!  Now work needs to finish so I can get Elizabeth out of that corrupted city.

Good game yes. But im not a fan of PS3 shooters, never cant AIM good by gamepads. Play'd on PC. Great Story rich game and nice shooter.

Bioshock infinite is masterpiece, story is mindblowing esp the song "will the circle be unbroken" 😁

Then i would also grab Bioshock 1 and 2. 

No internet? Go play offline fantasy stuff, i. e. pen&paper, it´s the best story and richest experience you can have plus the controls don´t suck.
