so i also hate the idea of the gaer down grading and exploding, a lot. its the reason ive quit this game for a few months multiple times. its why im playing elden ring right now. tried to make my BS boots pen and just erased months of work.

so just an idea dont freak out. add a alternate VP you can either have the one we have now OR a VP+ or advanced what ever they call it. same price same effects but also cuts the effects of all fail stacks in half, but no downgrade or exploding? maybe also add that items upgraded while its active cant be sold on MP?

I'm ok giving pearl some money. we get new classes new areas ect all free, someone has to pay to keep the servers up thats not free. there also not  a non profit they need to make money on top of that. But i hate watching weeks or months of work turn in to smoke and even worse make my character worse at the end. the gear grind is the point of the game, it needs to be hard and take a while but loosing progress and all that silvier is pretty bad. they have the best combat, some of the best graphics in a mmo, cool lore, cool mobs, cool looking areas lots of other things to do. they have done a good job in a lot of areas i care about (i hate pvp so.... thats whatever to me) just that enhancment system.

Looks like you didn't play BDO recently: getting a PEN set has now an alternative path that excludes any RNG.

Additionally, who forces you to open all those mean loot boxes instead of trashing them.

That's why I buy the gear I need off the MP. I'd figure at least with that method, albeit the long route, would guarantee I'd get what I want. With the Valencia trash buff, it makes it that much quicker.

The only time I'd RNG is if I have an excess of enhancing mats. Got my PEN Crescent from Jetina and Vell (off the MP) this week and I'm finally at the 285AP bracket. My motto is slow and steady wins the race. If I RNG and something pops, that's just a bonus. I never rely on RNG anymore.

3. Without guaranteed way to get bs pen and pen accessories (not trash but best in slot) (and manos item, I don't forget about lifeskillers) this game does not exist for 99,99% of players.

4. Players need progress and since there is no progress, playing is pointless.

You want PEN bs gear to be as easily accessible as the oasis gear in the past(or as a tuvalla). Is that true?

Nope, I want a progression system that will guarantee me these items. And new pens system from quests slightly improved the situation, but didn't really change anything.

I already described it on the example of Talisman Online.  Item enchanting was "easy". You only had to play and kill mobs, each killed mob filled the weapon progress bar and after reaching 100% weapon was promoted to the next level. Similar system to caphras in BDO only that the caphras system in BDO from the very beginning was an epic fail because if cost of caphras needed to advance from tet to pen is twice as high as the price of a pen in a market, it does not make sense.

Also bs and acc don't use caphras.

I would also add this to make life skill exp work the same but for manos items.

This game is completely player unfriendly.

I have bs tets weapons (bought), kutum pen (bought), all armours pen cr5-cr10 (from quests), fallen (flame bought), all tungrad tet accs (bought). It gives me 281/283/367. And what's next? We have 300 ap zones in game. Each better item costs between 40 and 100b, all for a total of 600b (not including the fallen pen). Absurd prices when I collected 40b for half a year because the game prevents me from earning: open pvp, desert debuff, crystals destroy, no map on sea and desert, ships slow as hell (idiotic currents and food rations sufficient for 1 hour of sailing, stupid ship repair (can't use same as hp potion or carrots for mounts)), no valuable drop for sell (and sick 35% tax). And most importantly: no income comparable to life skill to mob thrash. And tet / pen manos cost a fortune too.

And this is what makes up to 99% of new players disappear after the first month.

Jetina system does guarantee items, period, which is a change at a fundamental level.

What it's obvious is that you want to be spoonfeed progression without putting any effort.

bruh why so toxic he is right enchanting seasonal is easy as fuck i pen everything in 4 days granted i played hardcore but its not just luck. If your failing that bad you must be creating alot of good failstacks which are worth more later.. eithor way you win. Tho i failed 9/10 duo cres other night was bummed out that i lost 4b without geting shit lol it happens bdo is kinda fucked up with its system atleast make RNg work better when you lose hard.

However it gave me a one tap blackstar pen mainhand after months of failed RNG so it does work out later.. eventually.. Mind you months and months of losses in the billions....
