Not really the place for this, but as there is no dedicated BDO story section in the forums and this is most certainly not a quest guide, I believe sharing this in the role play section will do!

I finished writing a lore document about Drieghan I've been doing from time to time. I hope you enjoy reading it!

hi, realy! thanks i was hoping for something like this, please if you have more region / story build for the game i would extremly be gratefull to read them! I did the main quest but get bore of reading after some quests because my goal was to clean evrything : / so i didnt anderstand the whole thing entirely.

Hello! Unfortunately, I don't have any other document this extensive. I have this short one about Caphras if you're interested. At the bottom of that one and also linked in the Drieghan one you can find a community one made a few years ago about Kamasylvia, though it is not up to date.

I, too, always thought the lore of BDO is underappreciated by both the players and devs alike. This is incredible work! Thanks for doing it.

On a positive note when it comes to lore, I feel like PA ha's been consistently hitting the right notes lately. The story quest reworks finally make some cohesive sense as to why you're doing certain things, instead the the Black spirit just suggesting we go grind the next set of mobs. The small touches to the Nova's story experience are also an excellent move, where we might reach the same ultimate destination as we did on other classes but enjoyed a unique twist en route.

Ataraxxion is also being designed with a fairly cohesive story in mind, it seems. At the very least we've been told why it's there/who put it there/how it's reached its current state, and it slightly pushes the lore of the Black Spirit invasion and Illezra.

All in all, I never though I'd say this, but BDO is actually really tightening up its story game, and documents like yours only make it that much better. Thanks again!
