Yes, the difference is, I have bought a lot more Pepsi products than I have Bugatti sportcars.  Any method outside the game used to "block" these advertisements will get detected by the EAC.  At present the answer to this question is no.   They are very unlikely to offer more than the one day block, which is also ignorant.  The 24 hour block they offer is less than a bandage. If it was a week, people might not complain as much.

It's 2022. We can find streamers, the pearlshop, the patch notes. The ads are basically treating us all like infants or boomers who are too young/old to find any info. Imagine you're shopping and randomly get workers popping up telling you about products u don't give af about. I have anxiety and it's so bad I literally leave isles when new people come in them...then i get a store clerk asking if i need help... leave me the f alone. If i need something i can ask. Reeeee!

Or you can buy the AD Free Veteran package upgrade for 50$.

I really hate it when the black spirit informs me about rifts. I DON'T CARE! You're just overlapping other UI elements and I just want to click on something, not open the stupid rift thing. Unless you're in the area, it's useless to do them for the most part since the rewards aren't worth the effort to travel for them versus other means. I also don't care to fight them the moment they pop because the reward for a new rift vs old (easier) rift is the same. Why would i waste more time and resources fighting something harder if the reward is the same?

My point is, let us remove the rift notification please. It's stupidly annoying, more annoying than the fairy in Zelda 64.

The thing is, if I clicked once dont show again, its pretty sure I dont want to see it ever again. Same for season creating, if I created my season character I clearly dont want to see that banner ever again. Like I'm fine if they make it a one time thing announcing some new pearl items or deals but this appears daily in mass which is just another inconvienience created by the game

I completely agree, every single day I have to click away loads of invasive pop-ups before I can even play the game. It's getting completely ridiculous and annoying.

If you really wanna give the player information this way, compress all information into a single pop-up, and give the player the option to hide pop-ups forever instead of only 'today'.

Or don't use pop-ups at all; just add a small icon (just like mail, etc) with a red number indicating the "unread pop-ups". Then, players can click and read them any time they see fit, or don't.

I agree that this is really cheap and annoying. Icons as suggested above would be okay, as they sometimes appear when inv gets full or weigth limit is being reached (although those are annoying as well).

Anyways the amount of popus when you just log in to this game is absolutely horrible. I feel ashamed to have a friend see this as they think I play some cheap ass casino addict game (or maybe I do? :o). It´s like at least 3 layers of crap you have to click away.

Overall this game´s interface is a mess. Where again do I find this thing: Adventure? Function? Heck! ... Why can´t I at least type in something and it finds it ACROSS ALL MENUES. Senseless. I have no idea what chaos is going on in the head of the developers who dreamed these windows would be user friendly. They must have been smoking drugs cause they are absolutely not. No user appreciates this. 

On the contrary: It very much annoys your customers! I made it myself a habit deliberately at least NOT to spend any Pearls on the things that keep constantly annoying me in the bottom right. It is one thing I can do as a consumer cause in the end as with any product my power lies where I invest my money. They shall not be tempted to imagine through their metrics any positive influence from annoying me as their customer. 

The season character banner is annoying too, but can at least be helped by creating a season dummy.

Well with those popups new players atleast clearly see what kind of game this is, and they can uninstall right away. Like your standard needs to be very low to play with a such ad ridden game as bdo is.
