Yeah, very surprising indeeded. If only the more experienced players would not already told PA beforehand that they just waste their time on things that noone wants.

But yea, to the point I suppose:
"It felt like a mobile game". "They literally designed something worse then what they had years ago".
He even realizes the visual downgrades.

Well he did sponsored reviews since ages ago... but every yt/streamer does it, the best money is the shilling money afterall, and they do it for money.

I feel, if someone doesn't like BDO, or is heavily biased against it, then they'll like the video.
However, I feel if someone is not a fanboy or an avid hater, then Asmongold, Biceptimus, and Mr. Rapolas' take on it are the most reasonable takes. So, IMO, if I want laughs, I'll watch Peon and if I want unbiased reason, I'll watch these three.

I always find it funny how I see comments on YT saying that the person is a shill for actually making money on the internet. What do they expect, we all live permanently in our parent's basement and provide free content forever? Makes no sense. Of course people will do what they need to in order to get income. Adsense hardly pays anything even if you have 1mil views, you hardly get anything out of that. Maybe $100 / million, it really depends on how YT views you.
Being a streamer/youtuber is not a valid job. You don't get paid to be a streamer/youtuber, you get paid for being an advertiser. The pennies that you're given from adsense or w/e is nothing compared to the sponsorship and products you adverise.

Biceptimus made a good analysis : Peon came back to BDO head first, playing like he did when he left more than a year ago, without even informing himself about the major upadtes / QoL that were released after he stopped playing (for example, the guaranted PEN items quests, how elvia servers work, etc).
And to be fair with LazyPeon, he actually says at the very end of his video (18min50) that, I quote him : "everything I've said in this video is wrong and debunked", but I think a lot of viewers must have missed that.

Yeah, the perspective in his video was more from a I-quit-BDO-years-ago-do-I-personally-want-to-come-back PoV, and less on an objective take on the game today.
