Hello Developers of BDO, could you please add another way to get Royal Fern Roots. Perhaps add another mission for the weekly and daily to go gather wild grass 100 and corn 100 to feed the horses, or something better. I'm just giving an example here. The reason I ask is because I am disabled and it is impossible for me to spam the spacebar as fast as the mini game requires to catch the horse. So by adding an alternative quest I and maybe others could get a chance of getting a legendary dream horse. Also if you do add an alt quest make sure you can only do 1 or the other that way people can't double dip on the royal fern roots by catching a horse mission and doing the alt mission. Thanks

Imagine if you were paralyzed from the neck down and only had your biceps and wrist (no fingers working either) to play the game. Do you think it is possible to spam the spacebar to catch a horse? So my only chance at get a legendary dream horse is if maybe PA could add a little simple mision for us to choose from 1 or the  other to do the mission for the mats. It's probably not just the disabled that can't catch a horse, I am pretty sure there are some people in this game who find it hard to catch a horse. Whether or not PA decides to help out here. I still enjoy the game and it keeps me occupied so I don't get depressed. Thank you KaoKao and Pearl Abyss for delivering such a good game here.

Maybe reduce the speed you have to spam the spacebar or reduce by how much training skill you have. The more training skill the less you have to spam the spacebar. Even some normal people have problems keeping up. I tried asking people to come and help me before and it's not as easy as it looks. I manage to catch 1 with someone here helping me spam the key but it's not feasible to ask that person everyday to come over and help me. I guess that's all I got. You won't be hearing me reply to my own thread anymore. Unoless someone says something important that may make me want to reply to. Bye HFGL...

The sad thing is that a couple of years ago they significantly lowered the speed you needed to tap.  It was actually quite chill to catch horses.

Then some dev decided that this was "not challenging" enough and decided to give us all carpal tunnel by making it even harder than it is now.  Then they put it back to what it was when the game came out.

They really could make it not require breaking your spacebar to catch a horse.  It would make it a lot more enjoyable.

Many games now have an accessibility option to hold-press instead of spam-tap for actions that require this kind of input (toggle able in options/settings, obviously). Maybe require three 'holds' to not trivialise it too much, if that's a concern (hard to believe given it isn't a challenge anyway). 

Even without any relevant disability, this spacebar-slamming is problematic: it isn't hard or challenging, it's just uncomfortable and annoyingly loud for anyone else in the room. Different key press combos like active fishing would make sense and at least require looking at the screen. I'm sure there's plenty of other options that can make it at least look like it's pretending to be a challenge, instead of just excluding those with common reflex disabilities while aggravating the rest of us and being insultingly simple.
