you must be very naive to believe PA couldn't adjust a few numbers, after developing such a complex piece of AAA  software.

That couldn't be further from the truth. Let me remind you that Pearl Abyss is a public company and as with all public companies they have obligations to their shareholders. Pearl Abyss has a reputation to maintain and if their flagship MMO dies because of intentional misshandling it is severely damaging to the shareholders pockets which will lead to lawsuits.

The reason why they aren't adjusting the low hanging fruit is most likely because of communication issues and incompentence.

Kinda funny how common ppl who have zero understanding how these things works thinks that public companies are some magical, otherworldly things or smt.

No, it 's totally irrelevant if it's a public company or not, especially, that PA is a small, noname company, with most of the shares own by the leadership. Also noone can sue anyone for being incompetent.

Also the only case where sharehorders can sue a company is if they purposely try to mislead them by faking numbers (which is not the case), or if they purposely missmanage company assets, which is not the case either.

And the emphasis is on the purposely, as that's usually almost imposible to prove in court, even if it actually happens.

Pearl Abyss creates an overpowered class every single release. This is not new.

It then becomes an unbalanced mess for months while costumes are sold. Ravages the PVP scene and ruins gamers experiences.

Id love to see one day when a release just works.

This this this, so much this, even more so what was noted in the reddit post. As one of the last two dozen awakening wizard/witch players, mobility and defensive buffs are so severely lacking on awakening that it almost feels like a sisyphean effort to even play the class to begin with.
The lack of damage is also quite sad, I wish PA would split class modifiers between specs to give more class identity; it makes sense for succession wizard to have lower damage as it's supposed to be a large scale defined class, but awakening wizard very distinctly is NOT a large scale class at all, and no, PA and Speed spell do NOT make this class built for that content.

Exactly what we should NOT do again. They asked the players for the Rework and so many classes got protection on abilities they should never get or protection on movement which shouldn't be allowed.
