I'm pretty fond of the bikinis that came out with summer event.  However, since I'm one of those people that plays several characters, I feel sort of bad that I can get only one set.  Any chance it'll be added to the shop or something, other than in the bundle with the Coco set? 

I don't see a family limit for the pearl shop. I haven't bought the cherub yet but it would be strange if they had a family limit of 1. You should be able to buy as many as you like.

As I said in my original post, I think they're all tied to the Coco set, other than the very first one you get.  I'm not stoked on the idea of buying an outfit I don't really like, just for an extra bikini.

Last year it was only the free bikini and marine romance outfit.  We had to save up 30 coins for them too.   This year we got the bikini and the coco outfit in the same first day for free.  I would call that a vast improvement.  I am not one to tell you what to spend your pearls on, but I think Tooshai was saying, if you want more, you can always buy them.  I get plenty of freebie outfits and I don't like running about town looking like everyone else.  I tend to custom mix armors for outfits often.  

As for free stuff at this event, it will be running a whole month and there will be more items to get.  I only found 1 hidden? chest so far that would open.  No telling what will be in the future weeks ahead.  They will continue to drop free outfits on us to encourage players to buy other outfits from the pearl shop.   It is a good business tactic.  Give horses away and sell the best looking horse gear, anyone can see by all fancy dressed horses in town, it is working.  There will be more free stuff just around the next corner.

The only issue I see with the event so far is that there's seemingly no way to obtain the event swimwear from the previous events, (ex. Lorraine bikini).
