Agree, I used to barter everyday until the start of this year, I just found it pointless when I could instead grind 1 hour for the same result of a full day of bartering
Another thing that annoyed me is that there's still no way to access the wharf and storage of the town directly from the boat
They need to increase the value of the barter items and make margoria ones more attractive, you actually make same money per parley point by doing t3 to t4 trades when compared to t4 to margoria trades, so there is no point in going to margoria
also used to barter a lot before grinding got buffs after buffs now its not worth bartering idk
Well, barter is semi-afk due to its restrictions... Remove them, and one can go full active bartering.
Adding my voice to the chorus of people that'd like to see bartering get some buffs.
I made my carrack a long time ago and enjoy the activity. Sailing was relaxing for me even though I hardly ever did any of it AFK. Since I started playing again I've been wanting to do some more croc hunting and bartering, but neither of these lifeskills can compete with virtually anything else I could be doing with my time.
Bartering needs the inflation correction of 2x current silver amount for T1-5 then it's not 500-650M per 4h but 1-1,3B in 4h, about half of grinding a decent spot.
Agreed, buff bartering $$
I hate bartering, I hate pirates. I wouldn't say I like discussions about these two things because they always attack me. I still support this thread and feel bartering could be better. You lose so much when your ship sinks, a tragedy that keeps my ship docked, but I did enough for a carrack. I use it for fishing, and that's my ocean adventure story, but I would like a fishing ship.
Since the release of the barter and until the up of the low level grind zones, it was impossible for me to have people to play with, the guys were like drug addicts, they absolutely had to do all their barter rotation. . each time I found myself alone at grind.. and no matter which guild I went to, you always had a good part that only talked about barter and how many coins they had on their rotation...
I'm very happy that they stopped this activity to focus on pve again..
Seeing your discord mates / guilds / friends spending their time on other games / watching movie / series and switching every x minutes on bdo to talk to an otter is anything but "gameplay".. it's nothing interesting and personally I was bored as not possible with these ..
This is not the kind of activity that should be highlighted on an MMO..
And to come back to the barter itself and the comparisons with Lifeskill, barter you have no competition, when you go to behr or any lifeskill spot, you often have someone especially when there are buffs , when you go to collect mushrooms or other you always have another player who came before you, you always have problems in the lifeskill which does not exist at barter, if you chose the bartering it is mainly for its ease so please don't ask for it to be equivalent to other activities...
I will not leave a like or dislike because I am against the policy of PA here to favor and read only the subjects with lots of reactions.. I just give my opinion for those who are interested in an opinion different from what we find in majority here
Please, can you please listen to the players instead of trying to figure things on your own?
This is from KR forum and from what i understand, it's in discussion.
From your answer, i almost believed that you heard Shuddie's idea....
Does everything happen there? do i need to register there and spam my stuff to be listened to? Only KR matters? EU gets what they get?
How about you really listen to what players want and NEED for once? is this feedback board a joke?
Go take a look here https://www.naeu.playblackdesert.com/en-US/Forum/ForumTopic/Detail?_topicNo=25586 and do some serious work regarding sailing. Bartering must change but it's not a priority at all. i guess making afk people happy is more important than active players sailing. Please, prove me wrong, that this is not just some fairy dust powder to make us believe you care and can actually make things evolve.
