Someone suggested that having another layer of combat gear will give Life Skillers an edge to protect themselves. But... it... went horribly south. Also, suggesting a separate server, PVP players (cough... PVX) just hate it. The constant knife-to-throat vs pitchfork is there...
Please PA. Sigh... as it currently goes, BDO is taking a step back instead of going forward. It needs to move forward!
We are really tired of this cycle of HELL! We just want to have fun! We truly love your game. It has good combat mechanics, life skills mechanics, sea-to-land trading, bartering, NW, Sieges and other content for everyone!

Spamming for PvE servers , is just showing your desperate knowing PA wont change their stance. This is their decision. Not mine not yours. You can be angry all you want PvX game should stay PvX not change for a minority of the players. Also people didnt leave just because no PvE servers. Some left because the games not for them some left because rng is to big of a factor. You stated you gave up on the topic but here we are...
The only reason pvpers dislike pve'ers is because pve'ers keep trying to suggest things for pvp when they dont pvp. Youll never a pvper suggest to you how to gather, or how to farm, how to fish, what kind of buffs are needed for plant picking, etc etc. Yet Pve'ers seem very adamant about having their voice heard on suggestion forum, not only interacting with, but also suggesting and approving and dissaproving other real pvpers suggestions. Trust me, the way you phrase it is not the case, pvpers arent sitting there aching at the thought of a pve'er, and im sure the reverse is true. Its very odd to me that pvpers never suggest anything having to do with pve'ers, never complain about pve related content, yet pve players always want something done about pvp. It isnt a pvp issue you're dealing with, its a compentance issue.
There is a flip side to this though that ill acknowledge. Currently, pve players MUST deal with pvp at some point just to get pve done, yet pvpers never have to deal with pve to get pvp done. This is an issue, but I think before PA reduces the amount of pvp in the game, they need to make efforts to increase it first. Increase it in a way that doesnt affect pve'ers, and then im sure everyone will be perfectly fine with less pvp in the pve related scene.
My suggestion would be a pve related server with combat off, but you get far less product and results from there. This way, purely pve oriented players can progress, but players who take the risk and pve in the open world are rewarded for doing so. Its a win win for both sides.

I don't disagree entirely with your point, but I think this is misleading. The vast majority of PvP in this game is reliant on gear. Since there is no way to make anywhere near a significant amount of money/gear through PvP, you MUST PvE (a LOT) in BDO to PvP.
Unless you purely play AoS and trial BA/RBF as your only form of PvP, good luck engaging in PvP encounters as a 500 GS TRI Tuvala Timmy getting one-tapped standing up because you haven't done any PvE.

Well yeah ofc you need to pve but this pve doesnt impede on other pve'ers in any form. Me grinding stars end does nothing to billy in the forest choppin some wood.
This game isn't terribly toxic if you avoid chat. The days where you couldn't leave town without getting murdered are long gone. The world is much bigger and there are so many servers to choose from. There will always be that one dick that goes around and PKs a farmer or horse trainer but for the most part that phase has long passed, perhaps also contributing is the much lower population count.
I think in the end since PA won't change a thing and give us lifeskill servers, it's up to us as the populous to come together and set our own morals about PvP and abide by them. Some may call them gentlemen's rules. For example, don't kill someone who's horse training or lifeskilling unless the lifeskiller took your spot, don't kill the bell popper, engage in consentual PvP when possible, don't lie about the events that transpired to your guild and honor your word (ie if both parties decide to duel for spot, let the loser honor it). Perhaps DFS could be more duel for party instead? Seems more reasonable than losing a spot entirely. Don't attack bartering ships unless they attack you and so on.... I know it's hard to imagine americans and europeans being polite with one-another in a game like it can happen in Japan but cultural change even if it's just within one game can happen if we mutually agree to make it better. It happened in FFXIV, why not here?
Open pvp is good ..... really?
Crowfall - open pvp game, never on Steam (we know why), just died.
Escape from Tarkov - almost full loot open pvp, never on Steam (we know why), dead since launch, they even had to add bots.
New World - alpha open full loot pvp, epic fail, quickly converted to pve with pvp as an option.
It's really not worth continuing this topic: the vast majority of players do not want open pvp, and pvp players don't have any arguments because ..... nobody takes pvp away from them because BDO has a lot of pvp modes (but why are they dead if players like pvp?).

Please stop handicapping with 'far less product and results' and ideas around this or else, there will be no incentive for Life Skillers to even play. You are literally trying to cut a plate into 1/4 and slam the door at PVE/Life Skillers.
Anyway...
Hhhm...I can agree 'combat off' but still give the player abilities to hunt, barter, gather, and kill animals, such as rhinos and deer. With combat off, Life Skillers can also train horses in peace! Also if there is more than 2 person in the area, would be possible if the deer can stay for a bit longer before 'despawning' so 2nd player can butcher too? Instead of looting for a single, it can be shared like other MMO games does?
I am just thinking here and brainstorming. Trying to think of ideas.

Can we at least try that? This can work if everyone can chip in and provide rules. Then we can all make a list for the community? PA and everyone, we need to at least try something.
Edit: I was wondering if we can ask the official BDO discord to create a channel so everyone can help and input ideas and make a list of rules that works? Will that be okay?
