1 Ladet die Datei BlackDesert_Installer_NAEU.exe herunter und installiert den „Black Desert“-Launcher.

DirectX 12 actually going to be implemented?

Is dx12 really going to be added or is it another promise from 2015 thats been bought backup an yous are going on the page of "research", wont actually be added cause no.

It's coming (soon!) together with:

- Removal of FPS=DPS

- Removal of click2move

- Fixing of Desync on non-KR servers

- Removal of Class-x-Class modifier table

- Addition of more Solare (same gear) type of PvP activities

- Much better PVP rewards

- Much better PvE rewards via pities.

Since they can utilize direct storage , pop ins will be removed, they are hitting the draw cell limit i assume hence popins an bad textures occuring more an more frequently since remastered .  There is many many other things but these are the main two. But the engine still needs to be able to fully utilize dx12 for there to be any major effect.

Honestly i dont believe PA at all they have said multiple times they were going to either implement it or make it where the Black Desert engine has all the capabilities of the new engines .. which is false. Since the new one is already using dx12 hence crimson desert. Yes its a big job to switch API but saying research an giving vague answers isnt really going to solve the issues.

I dont believe pop-ins and view distance ( i assume is what you mean) are detrimental to the game.

Its something that only few ppl complain about i'd imagine ( there is a diff of acknowledging it being there and actually complaining about it). Maybe thats the reason why they dont bother with it yet, cuz it aint worth it for them?

Popins are there cause the devs are bad. Other games don't have such issues, even on earlier dx versions. Just changing the dx number not going to solve any issue magically, especially if they just patch it lazzily.

Also direct storage only change anything if ur vram is already fully ultilized, but bdo is not even close to that.

Popins are so the game doesnt go past the draw cell count and because they are using a api that doesnt utilizes ssds properly as the api trys loading everything at one time which direct storage changes this allowing more IO requests, also no direct storage has nothing to do with vram at all. It works on the premise of the gpu placing the assets instead of preloading , bdo pre loads every asset hence why there is a memory leak its also why you get stutters when riding t9s and t10s direct storage will solved this issue. The games bottleknecked by the stream assets Input an outputs  hence the issues with getting stuck in objects when riding specific horses.

Dx11 is limited by draw cells every effect you see utilizes a certian amount of draw cells bdo uses alot of effects(far to amny sometimes) , the issue is how many effects skills are using now(maegu an drakaina show the weakness of dx 11 and the game  engine)which is why they have to reduce draw distance , with direct storage they will be able have textures load in well movement is occuring proper streaming of assets is way better than what we have now , sure it wont be perfect but its better than this.

Edit: Also dx12 being a lower level api also increases performance if the developers do the work properly. Dx 12 has far more advantages over dx11 an previous itterations.
