A lot of BDO progression also hinges on knowledge. The BDO community is not vigilent when it comes to clarifying, correcting or updating information, making outdated information easy to stumble across and relevant, good information obscured, which may also just be gatekeeping. A new player will fall into pitfalls of picking gear that is ultimately a waste of time compared to other options.

Looking at the sailing discord, we still have the old information up for currents and barter NPC locations in Margoria, despite the currents and NPCs being changed for the new location. This includes the best/optimal pathing for sailies. While some of this information is still correct, even as the post is a couple of years old, others are not. To a new player, and maps looking similar, which posted information is correct? Guessing should not be part of the acquiring information process.

Choice had recently done an EU challenge and gotten to 700gs in under 60 days. Choice is also a veteran player who knows what not to do and what are the absolute best picks simply to progress gs.

I explained but some people don't get it. Nobody cares about the total GS in which its size was adulterated with too much DP in relation to AP. I said I'm not interested in junk end game dead end items.

And what does your choice show? How to spoil the character as much as possible and waste money:

Conclusion: epic fail and absolute absence of any true end game items.

Even today in 5 seconds I can go from 285 AP to 295-298 AP but I will lose my 140b and that 295 AP will never increase more in future.

And I've already explained to you that in Europe we play differently. Even 90% of european players use distortion to maximize AP even at the cost of DP. And no one in Europe uses offin because offin is an epic fail.

I have full pen bs (709 gs or something)an can say for sure hes 700 gs an his gear will work like 700 gs in most content sure my extra monster damage beats him for pve but then you see caps exist then there is no difference at the same cap. A year? In a year i have gotten pen neck an two pen blackstars and compass and map well also 116B in elixirs, 10k ecology and 655 energy because of new region. Thats chilling barely playing bdo. Also switched between classes to, so idk how you do not have pen blackstars at this point.
