Introduction

Off the beaten path of Duvencrune within its seventh residence lies an ethereal netherworld, whose dark fragrances and exotic flora evoke memories from the Land of the Morning Light, making it a suitable dwelling for the wandering Lahn.

Adventurers who stumble into this abode may be put off by the hordes of eerie, floating dolls that have permeated every inch of this realm but fear not; they have only come to celebrate the 7th anniversary of the Black Desert continent! They likely bear you no ill will and will definitely not be possessing any attendees for the duration of the party. Ignore the ritual below.

Just...beware when lights go out. :)

Refreshments

What's a party without food? The Jungles of Cymbidia provide plenty, and the Lahn has worked tirelessly to provide enough for those brave enough to enter the netherworld. Adventurers celebrating the 7th Anniversary can gather around the table (don't sit on the dolls) and Guess the Grindzone while they eat!

Think charades, only with intentionally vague descriptions and frustrated Adventurers screaming out "Centaurs! It's Centaurs!" just before time runs out, only for the correct answer to be Taphtar Plain. No proper nouns allowed (e.g. Mediah, Sycraia, caphras stones, specter's energy), and NO running to the books in the kitchen for answers.

Hidden Room

Join the slumber party in the hidden bedroom...if you can find it! Laugh at the newcomers as the chat inevitably fills with "Where's the hidden room?" and "If we told you, it wouldn't be hidden, would it?" Then realize that your chatboxes are visible through walls and hide under the covers in shame.

Photo Shoots

Adventurers are free to take pictures not only at the ritual site, but anywhere on the 2nd floor (this actually extends to the whole house but we're talking about the 2nd floor specifically right now).

Up here is the master bedroom, office study, party room, and fireplace to endure the long winters of Duvencrune. Form your own groups and join the round table! What chapters will you tackle first when the Kingdom of Haso becomes accessible? Which bosses are the most visually interesting? What accessories caught your eye? How many Deboreka earrings will you blow up (zero if you're good at the game)? Can we canonically become drunk with Yeonhwa?

Accompanying all of these discussions is a soft, background piano melody from Serendia.

The Cymbidia Library

And last but not least, we come to the final floor of our netherworld - the Cymbidia Library, with some visual influence from books.

Aside from attempting the mannequin challenge as pictured above, Adventurers on this floor can conceptualize new moves for classes that involve the number and/or concept of 7! Why the number 7, some may ask? Because it's the Black Desert 7th anniversary after party! Get with the program.

Randomly assigned judges may determine the coolest of the submitted moves, which must align with the classes randomly assigned to contestants. To negate the inherent advantage given to any Adventurer assigned the Lahn class, a 0.4x multiplier will be applied to the coolness factor of whatever move is conceptualized. This will of course be balanced with a 2.5x PVP multiplier, pending further consideration.

RSVP

Thus concludes our tour of the Cymbidia Jungle. Though perhaps an unusual setting in which to celebrate the BDO 7th anniversary after party, the traveling Lahn hopes that Adventurers will quickly warm to this new environment, find some activity that interests them, learn about the upcoming continent, eat lots of food, and make new friends! I adore the asethetic use of the partitions to make use of the giant layout of this particular home. You made individual rooms by using these things! Not only that but your general layout of the dolls gives a "dinner party" vibe. Only the turned to inanimate dolls in the presence of a person in the area. The ring around the lantern ont he base floor too is really nice given the particular color and lighting effect the lantern gives. I feel there is a secret lying behind that curtain in the back, knowing the house layout.. Win and show us! Goodluck!
