With the introduction of a wide array of PvE iframes about a month ago, the issue where PvE Invincibility effects being effective against PvP Summon Skills was highlighted by the community and on the May 3rd patch, it has been fixed.
Class Changes
Fixed the issue where summoned monsters and creatures would not attack players if they had the Invincibility buff activated.
However, a number of players from Pet Damage Classes were wondering if such a change on Pets and Summons would affect the source of the damage and in turn, collaterally fix a number of bugs with Pet Damage.

Are the "Monster %Damage Reduction" effect reducing Pet Damage in PvP after the patch?
-
To test the Monster %Damage Reduction, I sought out another player in Battle Arena in live servers, made sure I had no critical strike chance (EQ break flow =0% crit). I would hit the other player with Equilibrium Break's Pet Flow where I would turn my own player portion of the skill to effectively isolate Gorr's Pet Damage effect. 10 trials were made without Elixir of Will; 10 trials were made with Elixir of Will. If results weren't significantly observable, more trials would be queued (which wasn't the case). Numbers posted in a linked image sheet.

Elixir of Will 10% Monster Damage Reduction reduced the PvP Damage of the tested pet flows or pet abilities. Simple Cron Meal, Blessed Alchemy Stone also did the same; so should therefore Odylitta meal.
- In addition, not only did they reduce the Pet / Summon damage taken, they reduced the damage by a drammatic proportion compared to the displayed tooltip. In fact, in two different tests, the damage reduction effect bordered 16 to 17% reduction for a (10%) Blue Will Elixir. A total 17% combined between Will, Simple Cron Meal and Blessed alchemy resulted in a 25% reduction.
PvP damage being reduced by PvE consumables... :(
actually cringe this is happening.
gms cms?
any news on this ?

Almost a month :(
since woosa awakening will be heavily pet based, can you also look into this?
Excellent work. I'll be curious to see if all summons are affected or only pets. Would you be able to test with Acid flood?

everything that aint directly dealing damage from your main skill while u are "casting it" is considered "summoned" being in this game.
Lava/Poison field included. In awa caster case it also oncludes Calling of fire, all pet flows/effects and summoned pet autoattacks/skills
