I saw this topic mentioned and figured this would be a good place of get a sense of other peoples thoughs. I'm a newer BDO player, been playing for maybe 2 months now, and came from ESO and WoW before that. I have seen that lots of new players want raids or dungeons implemented in BDO. I'm not neccecarily against the idea of it but it just doesn't seems like they would fit very well with BDO's combat style and current "end game" progression system. This isn't to say that I wouldn't do them if they were added to the game, I certainly would, however I think they would just feel a little out of place. Im curious to see what some of the veteran players have to say about the subject since you all have far more experience than I do within BDO.
They wouldn't be out of place, instanced dungeons & raids would be a welcoming addition to BDO. If you haven't tried out Atoraxxion yet, check it out when you're geared with a group of friends. It's fairly fun although the rewards suck after the frist playthrough (they really gotta fix the rewards). But even then it isn't a traditional instanced dungeon, you can only do it once a week, it's not fully instanced until bosses, there are too many puzzles, and the rewards are lacking. It does however show they can make instanced group content, but they perhaps need to take some inspirations from other MMO's.
This game is currently a solo player game in a MMO setting, node wars/sieges/pvp are the only "MMO" aspect to it. The lack of social content is honestly driving players away, that and the fact that circle grinding is still the only way to progress into the endgame in this game. They seemed to have enjoyed seeing a player spike a couple of months ago, hopefully they got some data and feedback and know how to improve the game so players don't come and leave so quickly.
dfq are you even talking about, there are already dungeons in bdo. They are kinda shite but there are multiple already, and a new one will going to get added soon.
The idea of BDO was to be an open world without any log in screen, no dungeons no nothing. Well the game is not what it had to be now. Its getting more close to single play game with les and less options to react to griefers. Well that what devs want. We only gona quit when is total shit.

The dungeons in BDO, except for the final boss room, are all part of the open BDO world. I just recently ran Vahalmakea and ran into other players on 2 of our 3 home servers. They're fun too if you can actually find 4 other people who know the dungeon to run them with, I reccomend giving them a try sometime.

That's the main problem of BDO dungeons, people who don't like dungeons can't actually make a party for various reasons. Like most of them failing on essential requirement as joining voice chat.
I really wish refugees would stop asking for things that caused the game they fled from to fail.
Its never stops, people always asking for what they used to do, because they think that with new skin same actions would be "fun again".

Yeah I've talk about this in other places. The main problem is that the BDO community just doesnt really jive with PvE content of any serious difficulty. It's hard to justify doing something that takes a little studying and communication when you can get just as good of rewards by running in circles.
i personally think dungeons and raids would be fun if they added more for high end players (but please for the love of god make em 3 man ones because getting 5 people can be such a hassle)

Dungeons and raids should be done like Miruwak, you join at any time, kill trash mobs, maybe an individual boss or 12 that spawns for each individual joining, and then after a time a final boss spawns that everyone meets up in the same room for, with bigger loot based on the number of people, while requiring only 1 person to finish it but allowing it to support up to 40.
This is if they add any more dungeons to BDO. Failraxxian is not how they should have done dungeons. Adding puzzles to a dungeon does not make it "fun".
