I didn't get it
You have been complaining for years because of EAC and now you are complaining because they are going to replace it to accommodate your request?
Yeah being a little bit tech savy, and doing some research. I personally wouldn't mind XINGCode3. it is not the end all. Also. there are ways to greatly lower your chances of a sercurity breach. Also, to anybody who is complaining about Xingcode3 but uses Discord, you people are at best case just being silly. If you leave your network and or PC unsecure, Discord is pretty much the same as Xingcode3.
All and all just face it, Xingcode3 is more than likely going to be implmented to BDO in the short future. I will personally welcome Xingcode3. It is going be nice to not have to turn BDO off, when I want to play a good PvP game. Just saying is all.
You can complain and cry as you want, they will replace EAC by Xigncode3 next or in two weeks in rest of the regions servers.
They have it already added on Korean BDO servers since two days maintenance. Just check the Korean patchnotes of this week.
PUBG and many other games are run with Xigncode3 already as well. PA company is doing anyways whatever they want, not listening to us, they listen only to shareholders and money.

I think you are the 3rd BDO player that I've seen, that understands who these devs actually listen to.

I've checked yesterday out of interest their financial statements from Q4 2021 to Q3 2023 and the shocking news for me was, they cut jobs by -300 employees..
250 Devs got removed and 50 staff/business..
so I don't wonder anymore why they only add tiny QoL and copy paste classes.. I almost lose hope on the game now getting new meaningful content over the next years..
I told ya :P
Just deleted BDO, same what I did, it's anyways just a empty trash game packed within a golden coat.. it looks pretty, but it offers nothing than casino gambling, P2W, and 0 worthwhile content..
those who say otherwise might be blinded addicts :D
Damn, this is going to be spicy. At least my two AI programs on my PC will get some experience watching BDO's Xingcode3 activities. Would be interesting to actually see how BDO's version of Xingcode3 interact with my machine.
On the other note, I'll be able to once again play BDO at the same time I enjoy my PvP games when I'm not PvEing in BDO. So in my eyes, this is a win for me.
I've played on and off for 5 years but I won't be back once this gets implemented. I don't do rootkit level anti-cheat systems on my PC. This makes me very sad. I quit league because of the anti-cheat they're putting in, so to lose BDO and LoL in the same month is quite depressing.

I guess you are not going to longed for Multiplayer Gaming. Because rootkit level anti-cheat software are going to become the meta soon. And in the near future we will have actual AIs doing the scans which are hundreds of times more invasive.

I considered installing the game with a bare bones account that has zero permissions to anything on my system, other than where the game resides, but honestly, I don't care anymore. I know how much money I've put into this game over the years and they'll be doing me a favor. I won't install stuff on my computer that goes beyond looking at what is interacting with the game it's designed to protect. If that means I find myself with more free time to finish off the other games I've left unplayed for years, then so be it. That said, feel free to link your data on AI and how it's being implemented to be hundreds of times more invasive than a level 0 anti-cheat program. That should prove to be quite an interesting read, since my career is in IT, writing programs and utilizing AI for automation and cyber security.
