First, thank you so much for taking a moment away from your valueable playtime to create a Bug Report.  Our Q&A Team try their best to deliver bug-free content updates as best they can, but sometimes those pesky little varmin just seem to gnaw their way through!  It's players like you that go out of their way to help us find and smash these critters back in line that help make the game better for everyone!

Did you ever wonder "Is there a preferred way to write up a bug report that can result in faster discovery and fixes?"
Why yes! Yes there is!  Let's look at some Do's and Don't's of Bug Reporting and an example or two:

Don't!

✘ Write an essay, book, or extensive background history of what lead you on the journey to discovering this bug

✘ Use common slang, abbreviations, rhetoric, or other euphamisms

✘ Use a large word when a diminuitive one would suffice 

✘ Submit duplicate or extra Support Tickets if you use the Ticket System rather than the Bug-SubForum

✘ Submit posts to the Bug Subforum if it is a "game breaking exploit" or exploit in general

✘ "Sit on" information regarding an exploit thinking "I'm sure they know about it"

✘ Create public media (youtube videos, or streams) of exploits

✘ Believe your contribution doesn't make a difference

Do!

✓ Be precise and clear with step by step instructions on how to reproduce the bug

✓ Include a short description and title of what is supposed to happen versus what actually happens

✓ Include Screenshots or Video of the Bug if possible
✓ » If the bug is an exploit, make sure the video is private (can't be seen without direct link)

✓ Include the Date, Server Channel #, Server Time, and UTC time the bug occurred (as close as accurate as you can remember)

✓ State whether the bug is reproduceabe, intermittent, or randomly occuring

✓ Double check that the problem was not caused by local factors (such as Windows Updates, or incorrect PC Settings)

✓ Submit a Support Ticket for all exploits, whether major or small instead of using the forum and immediately notify a CM or GM in the discord of the Ticket #

✓ » Yes, you may Direct Message a CM or GM with a Ticket # regarding a major game breaking exploit you have found.

Example 1

Disappearing Donkey Saddle

The Donkey ClipClop Saddle disappears when I recover my donkey at the stablekeeper in Veila.

(1) Acquire Donkey Clip Clop Saddle and equip to donkey

(2) Go to Veila and speak with the stablekeeper

(3) Use the Recovery function to recover the donkey's stamina
(4) Exit the Stablekeeper menu and observe the ClipCop Saddle is not visible

Reproduceable 100%

Example 2

Enhancement sometimes uses two Blackstone Weapons instead of one

Sometimes when I enhance my weapon, it is using more than one Blackstone Weapon when it is supposed to only use one

(1) Obtain Krea Longsword and 50 Blackstone Weapon

(2) Use enhancing menu to enhance Krea Longsword one time

(3) Observe amount of Blackstone Weapon remaining in inventory

(4) Repeat steps 1 through 3 ten times

Reproduceable 3 out of 10 times

Using the above example formats when creating a Bug Report will ensure that your report is read and understood clearly and effectively and can expedite the bug testing process and help us get fixes and updates even faster!  Again, thank you for all that you do in helping us track down those pesky bugs! Is there any way you can help us with this bug

it has no rhyme or reason it just starts out of the blue, i reported it back during KaKo times never got a responce its been happening alot more often lately there is a video that explains it best the main issue is we can not FORCE produce it to happen its completely random when it happens.

Cooking on known recipes fails

I had this twice noe when cooking a known recipe, once with meat stew (haven't tried since) and today with organic feed.

1. I put in the right amount of cooking materials

2. I start doing a batch (today I tried 600 organic feed)

3. It cooks between 3 (maximum yet) and 0 times and then brings the error message "Cooking has failed....", please see the screenshot.

Fughars memorandum quest does not activate from inventory - Conditions not met!

- Used timepiece to switch to sage from Corsair (56) after completing tradtional storyline

- Trying the simplified quest line with second character

- currently have no accessorys and cannot get them because I cannot progress with fughars story

This occurred on 6th July 10:00 PM (ish) GMT on EU servers

Wondering if it is linked to the fact that I did the simplified quest on my second seaonal character and not my first. 

Thank you for looking into this, my Sage is kinda broken right now given that he cannot equip accessories or get the seasonal rewards.

Awakening Hashashin unable to dash

1) Press W + Tab + A Quickslotted Skill
2) Attempt to dash (Shift + W)
3) Observe as dash doesnt work

Dash becomes locked out and then can only be used after an auto attack or skill.
Reproducable 100% of the time if the quickslotted skill is pressed before the weapon is fully sheathed (On hashes back)
Able to dash normally again after weapon is sheathed and unsheathed (press tab twice)
Occured after the July 21st Maintenance

didn't really have a choice but to take time out of playing, the game does not work. i canot use the keyboard at all in the game since newest patch. the functions upbove the horse, and NPCs, other players, are not there, just blank, no options ( R ) to talk to mount, none of the eys appear. so now i am stuck doing a file check on your game instead of playing, which looks like its basically reinstalling it timewise. so thats just great. hope this fixes my problem, but im still sending this threw. if its fixed, good stuff. if not, now you have the report anyways. this kind of ruined a nice start to a new day. thanks.

I am getting guild invites even with this function disabled in General setting under Misc. Why? Been years since I have been bothered..............

Ok, so this isn't game-breaking or an exploit, but it is a Quality of Life issue. I am not sure where to post this.

For the last few weeks, whenever I try to place a chandelier in my house, it tries to place them low enough that they interfere with floors, carpets, chairs, and anything else you may have already installed, making it impossible to place where you want them. You end up having to remove everything, place the fixture, and THEN try to place the furniture back under the light. Even then, sometimes, it will tell you can't place it because of [floor.] 

I have been placing furniture and lighting since I started the game (years ago) and this only started about 3-4 weeks ago. I was hoping that maybe it was just a loading error, but after at least 3 maintenace days, it's still messed up. 

Just thought you'd like to know.
