The website's anti-robot protection, Incapsula, is getting progressively worse in terms of interruptions, and more and more broken layout, to the point where it is no longer usable, and is preventing access to many site features (but not all, which itself is odd).  False positives, not storing result as promised, and, in this case, bypassed anyway using a browser's incognito node.

Just started occurring the last few days.  The only thing newly installed is the latest BDO patch : )

Aye,  getting constant prompts from Incapusula since last night, the ine 'just click the I'm not a robot checkbox to pass the security check. Incapsula will remember you and will not show this page again' isn't true as I get prompted every time I go to the site or if I'm idle for a few minutes.   

Same prompt in game if trying to use the advernturers guide, except the capture is small and blurred so basically usless.

All very normal: win 10, edge, no plugins, visiting announcements or community or other non-static type content, but I haven't tried visiting everything (that would be a paid job).

Its latest trick, when it isn't failing to render or operate at all, is to present a whack-a-mole style of 'verification' where it displays a grid of barely legible picture tiles, asks to identify cars, for example, and keeps replacing tiles for identification until it is satisified.  I've had this go on for a dozen or so replacements. Images are so grainy and small and unrecognizable that it's more rng than anything like captcha.  RNG - now why does that sound familiar...

edit: I first ran into this when trying to open the web storage page to pick up some twitch drops. There appears to be a window of time during which the latest captcha session is honored, so it doesn't come up again until after that has expired - or maybe it's a period of inactivity. This makes it difficult to pin down what's affected or not.

I normaly never use Edge, only Firefox. But I just tested the website with Edge and could not reproduce the problem.

Ah! So I am not the only one that is getting this. I thought I had malware and did a fresh install of windows.

I wouldn't expect this to be easily reprodicible, that sort of software has all kinds of conditions on whether it will run or not, that's its purpose.  I don't know what triggered it for me, and it's not something security software will tell you, since that facilitates breaking it.  One might hope that the site operators have logs somewhere they can dig through.

I do have a lot of browser tabs open, but that has always been the case.  This is something new, and it seems ill-tuned, and, like I said, it doesn't even render competely all the time (no "I'm not a robot" box, layout is off, ...).  Maybe that's a feature; if so, it should say what is going on.  

And just now, while typing this, the window expired.  The message was "undefined" or something ( :) ).  And then i had to go through seven or eight rounds of identifying squares with pieces of cars, bicycles (which in one case was actually a motorcycle), motorcycles, crosswalks, and traffic lights.  And the tiles are poorly chosen: sometimes there's just a tiny slice or corner of the thing to identify, and I haven't been successful with those in either selecting or omitting them.  And then - while I do not want this to happen - it just seems to let you retry indefinitely instead of stopping and rejecting at some point.  That's really strange.

This just started for me in the past couple of days, as well as for some of my guildies. It's toxic just to visit the announcements page, or even when using the mobile app.
