Compass and Telescope Cooldown

The cooldowns for these should be 1-2 hours. For how long it takes for people to grind, the cooldown it has is way too long. Having them be 1-2 hours on CD isn't like OP or broken/too strong in any way. There is so much fast travel and teleports in the game now that this should be alright. At the very least it could be made to feel more special this way.
Side note: even the compass has more uses than just a CTG, it can be used in the desert/ocean to help navigate. Should there be something extra the telescope should be able to do as well? Family inventory capabilities would be nice too for both etc. Thoughts?

it can also be helped to get newbies out of spots they are stuck in and especially good if they dont have escape and map left.
