I'm your average player but I have knowledge of the up and down trends on the marketplace. I know when a certain item im tracking is good to buy and sell. Tonight, as the casual pile of doodoo that I am, I just started doing random activities until my brain told me to do another random activity lest I go to sleep.
So I arrived at making Balenos Rods. A limited item in terms of what the player demands BUT always in demand at the same time. On EU it was, if I recall correctly, 1.18million silver for one.
The materials cost before Marketplace Tax:
x2 Steel ingot: 43k
x5 Pure Copper Crystal: 3.75mil
x9 Monk's Branch: 18k
x5 Black Stone Powder: 15.5k
x1 Ash Timber: 1330.
Total price to purchase those materials to craft this - 3,839,830.
I had all the materials already in my bank so why would I craft these, my supply is constant due to my set up and my own active things I enjoy doing, why would I? The Crystal itself nearly quadruples the value of the rod. No exp is given from the rod crafting, its just made. Its pure silver drain.
This is just ONE of many things that's just nonsensical to make. I hate it because I see I've made a lot of materials and think I can start doing some good stuff only to see making the product is far less valuable than the materials used to make it. You dont even get EXP or anything for its craft, your worker gets its exp sure but....
Anyway - can this be looked at? Up the base value of these items perhaps?
