1 Ladet die Datei BlackDesert_Installer_NAEU.exe herunter und installiert den „Black Desert“-Launcher.

2 Bitte startet das Spiel, sobald die Installation beendet ist.

Situation #1:

With the 2024 June 9 update, and consolidation of Life skill tools, the new system ONLY shows base tools ingame, and automatically switches to base tools when non-basic tools are unavailable, or durability of non-basic tools are exhausted

Problem:

Most Lifeskill activites and tools systems are designed to be heavily influenced by durability management. However here is no indication ingame, under the new system, that a non-basic tool is currently being used/applied, and no indication if that tools's durability has been exhausted. This is especially problematic for non-repairable/expiring tools (Magic _ , Demihar _, Stella's _, Golden Fishing Rod) as well as any specific gear used for (semi-)AFK activities (Mass processing, AFK Fishing).

Solution:

Show the correct original skins of these items when in use, or some other visual modification(s) of the base skin to indicate a difference between basic and non-basic tools when in use, even if it's only client side.

Addendum:

Tool Wheel, has some minor mitigation for Fishing Rods / Harpoons (but not floats or any other tool) in knowing if a non-basic tool was chosenn at equip time, but has it's own issues (see next "Situation")

I'm also aware that a similar problem exists for weapons, however weapons...

... are not as heavily tied to durability management,

... are neither swapped to beginner variants, nor exist in "time limited" variants

... do not have their appearance overridden (unless a player chooses to)

Additionally, a notification is provied when weapon durability is low/expended, which is hard to miss except when AFK training on practice dummies, unlike lifeskill tools

Situation #2:

The Tool Wheel, nice addition, not so great execution

Problems:

... it's slow

... mouse movement is inconsitent

... "hold key to open" is not user friendly

... "release key to engage" is counter intuitive

... can only be engaged while in look mode (why?)

... Unable to cancel current tool use by changing stance (affect Mass Processing and Fishing mostly)

... Doesn't show Floats for fishing gear (see previous problem section about indicators)

Solution:

Should really be...

... faster

... accessible in all modes

... scrollable (mouse and pad friendly)

... persistent until engaged/dismissed

... click /press to to open/engage (include cancel)

... Rod AND Float displayed for fishing

Addendum:

The Stance button (on the "Mount" bar) mitigates some of these issues, but fails to offer harpoon if you do not have one equipped, and does not show the gear being selected

Now all the fishers at Velia Beach appear with only the basic rod.  "Immersion".  "Improved".

Yeah....

Funny enough, as a new player, seeing players with different gear at Veila beach was my fist indication  that LS gear could be improved, and what the most popular gear was.

I'm glad if I could fish. But it's not possible anymore. Doesn't matter how long I press the '-Button, there is no new menu coming.
