The bottom line for any of you crying rping about a video game death in bdo:
You lose literally nothing.
Unlike any many other video games ex. Runescape, rust, ark, dayz, tarkov, etc. A death to PvP in bdo equates to a metric of in game loss that is so unbelievably minimal it's not even worth mentioning. If you are mad you died, if you think it's "bullying" or "harassment" you are RPing and you're a weirdo. Grow up.
Not true. I've had crystals break from PvP. & i never flagged or attacked back. my best guess would be that they probably brought me down to like 1 hp and a monster hit the killing blow though i'm not sure about that it was years ago. So depending on where you are you can still lose stuff. I don't do PvP so to me it is bullying, killing someone just because you can and/or don't want to share area. PvP should be separate from the main game, AoS, War of the Roses, (which i think should be a regular thing where anyone can join, - on a separate server specific for that. - like World v World in Guild Wars 2.) Node wars that you explicitly have to join and flag for PvP. I think a fair compromise would be that both players have to be flagged for Open Wold PvP, and you can only switch in a safe zone. as well as have incentives for PUGs so people group together instead of competing. that way everyone wins. I play on EU even though i live in NA so timezone difference means it is the middle of the night and therefore there is less chance of running into another player who wants to kill me. thankfully it doesn't happen often but i've had someone kill both me and my dad in like 3 hits. not enough time to think about flagging to fight back even if i wanted to.
Any form of forced PvP when you're not the one attacking first can and will be perceived as disrupting gameplay. I don't understand the point of such ToS if you still have forced open world PvP on the normal servers at the same time.
Either remove forced PvP completely on normal servers or leave such ToS.
BDO has fundamentally contradictory systems. Such ToS are merely vague stopgap solutions. They not only make it more difficult for themselves, but also for the players to know exactly what is allowed and what is not. BDO and its players have an identity crisis.
It was nice when games had pvp and none complain about it
When you get pked all the time and it was fine for the devs and if you complain you get laught about it not honored...

There are plenty of games like that if that's your thing

As I mentioned, even kill steal and overgrind can be seen as disruptive gameplay with such a vague definition. This is only not a "pvp" problem.
