My friends and I love to group together. We have been playing together in various games for about 25 years. The way the looting is now, only the person with the highest damage gets loot. It hinders group play. I would love to get ordered looting back so we can group again and have fairly distrubuted drops.

Agreed.  I don't really care about the other looting options, but ordered looting makes it great to group with friends.  We all got a fair share.

As someone who has been playing this game for many years, I can say with confidence that this was NOT something that needed to be fixed. This was a neat feature that added balance party looting.

In my opinion, this was a downgrade to the multiplayer aspect of the game that needs to be restored.
(Not dismissing all the wonderful hard work PA does in everything else, but I believe removing this feature is a mistake)

I'd also like to see the return of partied gathering.
Used to be that you could power-level your friends in hunting by killing the mobs and letting them carve.

Now this is just another single-player online game.

Yea i dont understand why this was changed was that many people complianing about loot distribution lol of all the things that was changed why this, i dont get it
