I was really trying not to full doomer on this game, but ChoNation has been the top pvp guild for years. If they're calling it quits... you know there's a huge issue.

Unfortunately it seems the developers have no interest in taking player feedback into consideration when it comes to any updates in this game related to PVP. I'm talking the new nodewar system, class balancing, terrible RBF rewards... not to mention arena of solare ended and they didn't even start a new guild league season.  I cannot wrap my head around why they didn't immediately start a new guild league season... all the infrastructure and maps are there? 

With most forms of pvp (especially the modes that are somehow still kind of active) being capped gear now as well, there is simply no reason to run in circles and grind for more gearscore. Sovereign weapons in my opinion will be dead content on arrival. Why grind for gear? To run around in circles at a different, slightly more profitable monster zone just to repeat the cycle constantly? Yeah, pass.

There have not been any updates with actual meaningful content in months. Just random events people log in to do and then afk the rest of the day. Oh, and pearl shop outfits! (By the way, that 50% off coupon up to a maximum of 1,000 pearls off was the biggest slap in the face ya'll ever could have given us.) The game has become incredibly stale.

Will not be repurchasing my value pack when it expires tomorrow. To anyone else who currently hates the state of the game, don't whine on forums and expect change- show them how much you hate it and stop swiping your credit cards.

It's so cooked man

J got what he wanted the whole time, a nice little pacifist PVE game, with all the available PVP guilds leaving for greener pastures/quitting. A real shame and a massive waste of one of the best PVP systems i've ever seen in a MMO, hopefully stuff like this can open people's eyes and help push BDO into a better direction but with how things have been lately, I highly doubt anything good will come from this. RIP Cho.

Dont be like that, give yourself a chance to upgrade new weapon, it will be fun, promise 

Even with the new weapons coming out it does not change the current issues with pvp yeah you get more dmg and modifiers but what are you gonna use it for? You can just get it to base and insert the new weapon crystals and leave it since the most active tier for NW is T1 which is capped. The only fun uncapped PvP mode is gleague and they didnt bring it back. Even looking back there were roughly 25 ish guilds/alliances dooing the old t3 caps, and now theres only 5.

I was being sarcastic, pvp and balancing always been dog-water with cheap severs constant de-sync 2 shot mechanic, and spaghetti code in a flashy packaging 

Think about people who stacked alot of rss and will attempt to X the new weapon, they will have more advantages then others and more power to use in pvp vs low geared, totally a trash concept. Told for months that pve gear should not have effect vs players which in this state no one fights in open world because of one of this reason. Devs have a good game that don't know  how to develop it further, leading to a mess and people quitting every day.

PVE circle to infinite is another bs thing, for example to get 500b at gyfin you need to spent ~1000 hours doing exactly the same thing, its insane amount of time to spent for this purpose. So as nothing special or a real change, people have no reason to return or play anymore, even streamers moved to other games or rarely stream bdo. Those are known issues for months or past year, they are aware but keep pushing trash outfits, don't get me wrong as outfits are a cool thing here but their focus is way too constant on this rather then giving people new content, places etc and combat fixes.  Not even daily rewards makes me to log in then exit, this strategy maybe works for others but not for me, just not worth until they will really come with strong updates.
