The game economy, yellow accessories, Debo, New Accessories.

While this is better than the current system it does not address the real fundamental issues that will keep BDO in the toilet.  The new accessories are designed to replace Debo and prevent them from breaking.

* It does NOT do anything to alleviate wasting collosal amounts of times on a gotcha cash shop system designed for PAYING not PLAYING

* It does NOT create any end game diversity

* It does help restore value to Yellow Accessories and allows Debo conversion

New grind zones

That's nice and all, but does not address the long term critical failures of end game.  There isn't enough value or effort put into systems that reward you for playing the game.  At it's core BDO is just a gotcha system wrapped up in a game to help integrate you into the gotcha system.  It's NOT a game first with a cash shop.  It's a CASH SHOP that happens to contain a game.

Siege changes/Revert

This may be what a players wanted, but it doesn't really improve upon anything.  It's just a revert option back to the prior state.  A huge issue with this now is that their PVP/siege/node customers are playing T&L which will probably cause serious long term damage to BDO.  BDO NEVER really had to compete with any game during their history.  Everything released was either a flop or different style.

With the state of T&L right now, PA has a chance to turn this ship around before it's too late. They need to ease up on the bubblewrapping and let people sort differences out such as before.


-Keep Arsha server but also make an "Elion" server that is strictly PVE for people who can go. It will make their PVE/Lifeskilling community more dense and the rest of us can use the normal servers for PVE/Lifeskilling/PvP.
-Revert the karma changes as well. Can get rid of karma altogether, reduce karma loss, or increase karma gain. Like it or not, red players are also players who has their playstyle and they do make the game more interesting.
-Also they need to take out the "Guild Consent Declaration" because their game fell steeply after that change. 

Guess what PA? Most players like to talk their shit, start fights, gloat about their wins, and love a good fight. You may see it as "toxic" but it's how players were and always will be. Implement that PVE server(s) for the carebears and let us run wild like we used to be. Your ship is sinking fast and your window of saving this game is closing.

A game company can't allow people to literally harass and chase people out of their game and even more to make it openly viewable to everyone on video/streams.

If there was a real PVP community the PVP servers would be highly populated and not even need incentives.

You can't escape the issue:

Those PVP systems rely on a known FAILED CONCEPT, the Sheep and Wolves.  Even T&L is NOT trying to create a forced PVP game world.  It has PVP elements, toggles, and things to fight over.  However, there are NON PVP options also.

I do think BDO is taking on water fast.  More grinds just to buy crons for another line of accessories to RNG enhance is not content.

Correct.  The main point of the new accessories seems to be a band aid fix for the hammers.

It doesn't solve other issues which unfortunately the business model which will always destroy the game.  An exp system leveling equipment for enhancement for example is completely superior from a game design stand point, but it doesn't fit into a Gotcha Game.  It belongs in a good game, NOT BDO ;)

The Caprha system is also completely botched by both PA and the community.  I don't think many players fully understand the defects even though it's so obvious.  Upon release it would have taken 12 years of daily grinding to get +20.  That was the real problem.  It then relied enitrely on the market place and was just another chore.

Also even obtaining items in BDO is botched and completely boring.  *Yawn* a Debo drop.  I can't equip it.  I'll need another 50 of them to make a true end game item.  And I'll need to farm a trillion silver for Cron stones.  I'm just so exited about this amazing drop......yay?

BDO was 10X better farming Chimera and Red orcs with starter gear.  With goals of unlocking skills and obtaining higher levels by actually playing the game.

Smart pvpve rules are able to control any excessive behaviour. But we never had those smart rules. Seperating pvp from pve, and throwing a FFA server, are both lazy answers, far from BDO initial pvpve system, which was imperfect but far more ambitious than what we currently have.

And I don't know about the pvp audience. But the pvpve audience is still waiting for a real answer.

That is absolutely correct.  Every aspect of PVP was horribly designed and nothing worked at any point.

* Positive Karma - free kills, mob feeding, killing afk players

* 1% exp loss - from basically no loss to an impossible burden

* Death penalties meaning nothing - easy karma bombing

Fixing that though is NOT what the player base in mass was looking for though. 

It's like a Striker on release coming across a magic class.  They LOVED IT.  No challenge at all and no accomplishment.  No skill required, no competitiveness.  That is the dark secret many don't want to tell you.  Blue actually did a good job of pointing this out and a few others.  It's not that big of a secret it's essentially this................

PA can NOT tell you the obvious.  They can't admit they intentionally tried to irritate their own custmers into purchasing crons and made the enchanting rates horrible for that specific reason.  Everyone knows this, but they can't say it.

Just like the PVPers in mass can never admit they just want to pick on weaker players.  No matter how blatantly obvious it is.

Reason why I said to include PVE servers for people who can't handle that unrestricted enviroment. Also don't equate real life with a game, it looks silly.
It's not "harassing" or "chasing" people out. It's called skill issue. You're not that good, get better gear, learn your class, and come back to the fight better and test your skills. You claiming it's harassing is the same of someone accusing you of hacking because you're actually good at the game. 
PvP has been stripped away of that challenge and experience to something very dull and meaningless as rotating iFrames/SA/FG until you land a CC. 
Also, I'm bringing these up for ALL players: PvE/PvP/Lifeskilling AND Red Players. As much as you dislike them, they are part of the population that enjoy their style of gameplay. If you don't want red players, get rid of the karma system and flagging system altogether. Since it's still around, their style of play is still around and I say strengthen it a bit to not drive them away.

T&L is a bit damaged from what I hear but they may fix their game and when they do, they may bring in more people to stay. This is why I'm urging PA to heed our concerns and address them accordingly otherwise people will abandon this ship for one that is staying afloat.

The current server system needs to change where you have a war mode for pvp like how it is in WoW.  People who want to PvP can opt in to war mode that allows them to interact with other players who wanto to PvP. This is the only decent solution to appease both playerbases.  PvP and PvE specific servers are an outdated method. The way it works in WoW is war mode players dont see non war mode players and they can kill mobs seperately with war mode missions and rewards.  War mode can only be toggled on or off in major cities to prevent abuse.
