The same gear for PvE and PvP

Suggestions/Comments:

First of all, I know that people who like unkillable full Dr/Evasion mode will disagree with me. But this is my view on the situation.

Before bdo I played a lot lineage 2, I  grinded a lot and I always had a lot of PVP every day. But I had the same gear for PvE and PvP.

In bdo we need crazy amount of time just to make PvE gear and most people definitely don't have  time for grinding silver for PvP gear.  Besides gear we also have to change addons, crystals preset, change gear, use all buffs for PvP.  It takes time.  Why I just can't have fun and have pvp if somebody attacked me on Arsha? Why so many actions?  

The same for Guild League, even if you have high-end pve gear with pvp addons, you cant kill people with the same gear, that use pvp gear. And it isn't fun, just because you spent thousands of hours to make PvE gear and then you still need spend thousands of hours to make PvP gear. Why? 

I think people dislike pvp in the open world, not just  because other players force them. I think it is  Gear issue, if we had  the same gear for PvE and PvP  people would like to have more PvP. People like PvP,  the good examples  were   Shadow Arena or AoS. But only when they can fight, rather than being a pear to be beaten.

Suggestion:  the same gear for PvE and PvP. Everything is very simple > more gs you have > more powerful you are. You just grind for higher gs and have pvp at the same time without forcing in PVP gear.  Delete pvp addons, crystals, gear.  The only thing you can leave > pvp buffs, because we can use them instantly without griefering ourselves. 


Also it will be  easier for you to balance  classes, because some classes with pvp gear are just unkillable at all.

I posted something similar, more along the lines of eliminating "monster damage" and "human damage" and instead just making it generic.  Naturally that would require some major balancing changes after.

The toxic trolls got all butthurt.  Can't be making it harder for them to PK you while you're grinding.

Yeah, it is true, they have fun to kill noobs, but not people with the same gear. I saw that many times. 

So in fact they don't like immortal opponents either, they like to kill only people in pve gear and buffs. This proves once again that no one likes immortal characters, even people who are immortal just skip pvp with the same people =)))

I looked there and nobody was butthurt. You seem to be butthurt here that people didn't agree with you because your idea doesn't do anything outside of removing things and causing balance issues. You would still build pure ap for pve and need a different build for pvp on most classes. Having two all in one presets that are active simultanously is the simplest and best solution. You hit a pve mob the game looks at your pve preset, you hit a player the game looks at your pvp preset thats it.

When we talk about pvp gear, we always have 50/50,  so  you cant  extactly say that people didnt agree.   If people disagree it would be like 2 likes and 12 dislikes.

And as i noticed this forum dont have so much people to have a lot of likes or dislikes. I think the last word is for GM`s that sort our ideas. The only thread that has many likes  is a thread with some popular streamer, like Choice,   he had 800+ likes for his  RBF changes, and what  did we get? 10m > 50m reward  in 2024...  Even if his idea was in KR developers, they live on another planet  of some universe.

I wouldn't take all posts to heart.

Im a nobody and the post I made about nw rework has the most upvotes on these forums idk how is that relevant at all but since you are bringing up numbers then there you go. You can get ideas uvoted as random timmy and as shown with that post you can have PA not even respond to it. As to sorting out ideas apparently it's not even up to our GMs or CMs to sort feedback from here unless their korean overlords give them a green light. Aside from that I don't think complaining about butthurt nerds that dared to explain their disagreement politely is productive either while posting opinions spawned out of ignorance without giving them any thought in the first place and getting upset when it doesn't work.

It turns out that people who like pvp and do not want these changes put sticks in their own wheels, or they really like to run and kill people in tuvala, otherwise there are no options here.

This is another crutch instead of solving the problem. And I provided the real solution in my topic. One gear for pve and pvp.

Do some more calculations and make the optimization worse, why? And changing presets gives absolutely nothing ( because you need a lot of money for PvP gear at least, when you cant event make PvE gear in this Cron Desert Online) , and if you have pvp in mobs, so what the preset will change every second? Some kind of delusion. And you also say that people themselves do not understand what they are offering hahahahaha, I have nothing more to talk about with you.
