Suggestions/Comments: The remastered graphic cannot be enjoyed
because of the very strong brightness of the sun/sky. The player need access to more options in the menu to reduce the bloom, disable the fake HDR or further reduce the gamma of the game.
i totally agree with that!
+1 Wishing for options to reduce eye strain.
So I decided to piggyback off of this and provide a different example tied to the exact same issue. I have my own screenshot.
The Kamasylvia/O'dylita areas have the opposite effect for some reason. Instead of the sun blinding everyone possible, the grass/foliage acts like your camera is under a canopy and the lighting disappears except for the sky. Valencia is too bright, shiny and reflective. My only fix so far has been to turn the photo filter to Cool in order to mellow out the issue. It's still an issue nonetheless.
It's kinda disappointing that Remastered is the best it's ever looked but it's borderline unplayable and entirely unplayable to those with eyes incapable of adjusting to these extreme environments. I will admit though, wearing sunglasses indoors to go through a shiny desert region is kinda on theme as dumb as I feel it would be. We don't have a feasible solution to see better in the dark. It's a little harder to get my night vision goggles more readily available when the reason to put them on is present when I move the camera up and down.
This and tone down some of the star effects on "shiny" things, its like my character has an astigmatism T_T
