I wanted to share some feedback regarding the Field of View (FOV) options, specifically how it interacts with Crop Mode. Currently, increasing the grey bars (Crop Mode) gives a significant FOV boost, but at the cost of reducing screen space and immersion. While this provides a competitive advantage, it comes at the cost of enjoying the game’s full visuals, it would be great if there were an option to achieve the same FOV provided by Crop Mode without the need for screen cropping. This way, players who prefer a wider view for gameplay reasons wouldn’t have to sacrifice the full-screen experience.

A FOV-slider would be really great. Currently, when playing on a wide screen, the middle of the image looks fine, but the left and right sides are stretched horizontally to a ridiculous degree. See the screenshots below: It's the same island both times, but first when looked straight at it and then when looking at something to the right, so the island is on the left side of the screen. (Compare the position of the crosshair; it's the middle in both screenshots.)

If it was possible to change the FOV in this situation so that the sides of the image would be horizontally compressed (because new stuff comes in that is currently outside of the screen), it would make objects there look less weird. It is important though that this requires two seperate FOV-sliders, one for horizontal and one for vertical FOV. Otherwise, they might introduce the stretching issue at the top and bottom.
