So the announcement for new mileage/loyalty shop in KR is out, but on the list of purchasable items the character slot increase coupon does not seem to appear.
The other disapearance compared to the current shop is the storage where we could buy 5 choose your storage box/month for each region we will be limited to 5 choose your storage total during the next 7 months.
These are usefull items specially for new adventurers and I would be very disapointed if it were to disapear from the loyalty shop.

While I agree and support the idea of slots for Loyalty, I thinks it wasn't ommission.
If the items were popular, and there's alternative available for pearls, then PA did it deliberately to increase sales. I know it might sound obvious, but lately I've realized sometimes it has to be said.
PA is just greedy.
PA has been getting more and more greedy, all while making less and less money. Turns out that customer goodwill is the main source of profits, rather than making annoying cash grab changes, PA would do better fixing the game engine to address desync, crashing, bugs and glitches. If they did that, their profits would likely increase greatly.

You can literally datamine the API's and watch Sales numbers drop off in real time on Steam and go up on Good Ol' Games anytime there's been a viral News story about VALVe mishandling a monentization change.
...it's because we live in a very inverted society today where the people who actually work and struggle to make ends meet don't have any time at all to pay attention to news or online drama and especially to Reviews and also have DRASTICALLY shrunk in the demographics as having much of any disposable income ... while Inversely: the children of the Upper class who are way more Virtue "Signally" have become the largest by-Volume demographic for actual purchasing power and consumption of all things intended for disposable incomes to be wasted on. ...this used to be a place reserved for the Libertarian gamers all in the Gen X (my Gen) who used to be able to afford all this greedy monetization back when it all started going really hard under Maplestory, DFO, and Lineage
But now days AAA companies and AA studios that attempt to operate like Triple-A's are surviving pretty much exclusively on Stock buyback exploits that are not in any way sustainable. Suffice it to say, if Peal Abyss doesn't get Crimson Desert out in the next 9 months, they'll be facing some Ubisoft level downward spirals as they continue to alienate the Champagne Socialist dolphins they should have been catching in their "New Player Experience" nets.
