I am just putting this out there in case maybe someone from or related to the dev team or anyone else, happens or wants to read an honest and detailed feedback on the black shrine bosses.
Simply put, the mechanics are too convoluted and success relies more (entirely) on non mechanical factors.
Historically and inherintly, bosses that involve multiple phases and "advanced" mechanics rely on one thing and one thing only to work: an obvious learning curve. Now, with black shrine bosses you manage to avoid entirely this first and foundational aspect of a boss fight ,in fact, I have absolutely no clue what is going on or what mechanics the bosses are developing even after doing these bosses for many many weeks. I just tank them out and go on with my week. (I should not have to look up guides to figure out what I am doing wrong).
Pattern recognition is key; if it even is present with these bosses, these patterns are absolutely unclear and convoluted to an extreme...
Now, I would understand if these bosses just served as milestone/fodder for increased gear score and nothing else, but the fact that you can randomly get one-shot after almost finishing the fight just tells me that this is not entirely the case and the devs want you to pay attention to that one mechanic that one shots you but I still have no clue why I am dying.
I am referring to almost all black shrine bosses through this because it is amazing that they almost all suffer from this same foundational problem.
I could not help correlating these bosses to bosses from souls games due to the approach in design (idk if this was the initial intent), yet, when you skip processes in development you end up with this. Where souls bosses are diamonds, these end up just being coal.
Now, my whole analysis would be irrelevant if black shrine bosses are indeed just fodder for when you gain more gear score; I wrote this assuming they had advanced mechanics and the fact that I still do not know if they do is problematic and shows you the issue at hand.

you cant fix this in EU/West due to ping any mechanic that they introduce will flop hard for us. KR "enjoys" that stuff minus the bad design stuff here and there
I don't do them because I have no desire to, but watching streamers do them, they can call out and avoid every mechanic while streaming and reading chat. So there are pretty obvious mechanics you're simply not doing. Maybe watch a video or read a guide?

Just a little note here, ALL black shrine bosses have a time limit, and if you get oneshotted "from nowhere" at almost the end, maybe you run out of time, when a oneshot surely kills you.
The fact, that you havet to unlock the evasion roll to do this content on some classe, meanwhile in the actual game you want to have it locked, says everything you need to know how bad the design is.
IN EVERY GUIDE you hear the same argument: As soon as my class got more pve-iframes i could do the content. If you still on a class which hasn't got anymore iframes, enjoy the rolling content.

Bosses are alright, if anything Uturi can be the most annoying/messy. The only issue I usually find is the people :shrug:

It's more class issue than skill issue. I had no trouble doing bosses on tuvala shai alt, while same bosses were impossible on archer.
Why? Because shai has spammable PvE iFrames, while archer doesnt.
The bosses have too many 1-shot attacks (invalidating defensive gear), too many bugs and are too ping-dependant. Also telegraphs are unclear, with faceless bosses and deceptive red circles and hard-to-see safe spots. Worse yet, this kind of content seems to be the model for future content according to PA patch notes/roadmaps.

Can you list those 1 shot attacks? Cause Ive never got 1 shot by a boss unless, obviously, the entire party fails a mechanic.
And its normal for a mech to one shot you if you fail... Otherwise what would be the point of the mech when people would just ignore it and tank it.
