Suggestion(s)/Comment(s): You didn't take into consideration ANY of the playerbase's feedback except for people who wanted their overbuffed classes to be buffed more. You left multiple classes unplayable like Awakening Ranger, Succession Corsair, and Awakening Maehwa, and yet you continued to buff or allow busted classes to exist like Awakening Sage, both specs of Hashashin, both specs of Berserker, Awakening Maegu, Deadeye, and both specs of Dosa. This AOS season is somehow going to be even more unbalanced than the previous season. Why are we only ever letting the same few classes play the game? Revisit the changes and listen to REAL feedback from people who main the classes with an actual grasp on reality. This game is not ready for another AOS season.
Details: Here's the deal. Not everything needs to be an "everything" class. A class doesn't have to have zero weaknesses to be enjoyable. They don't need to be amazing in all aspects of PvP, they don't need to be top tier AND multi-purpose. The reason why so many classes are outdated nowadays is because they are single purpose classes or still have weaknesses/counters in an era where all the top classes have no true weakness/counters. Why do all these classes have to have top tier movement, amazing modifiers, great damage, great catch potential, amazing protections (ESPECIALLY BLINKS OR DYNAMIC HITBOXES NOBODY CAN GRAB), great self-buffs... is there anything that they DON'T have, like all the outdated classes? Succession Maegu still gaps all old classes because she's just that well-rounded, and somehow it was decided that she should be the basis for all of PA's favorite classes. Awakening Lahn, Awakening Mystic, Awakening Striker, and Awakening Sorceress are gapping old classes now because PA decided to give them the Maegu treatment. You can't even get near the classes I listed in the beginning because they are so many leagues ahead of everything else in the game (including the ones I just listed that gap the old classes). If you want to make a multi-purpose well-rounded class, don't allow it to be the best in ALL FORMS of PvP to the point where it invalidates the single-purpose classes in the areas where they're meant to shine (just look at how long Hashashin and Awakening Maegu have been top-tier meta picks in every aspect of the game).
So to summarize, reduce overall effort to reward ratio and capabilities + narrow down the roles of overperforming classes (Awakening Sage, both specs of Hashashin, Awakening Maegu, both specs of Dosa, both specs of Berserker, and Deadeye), reduce the capabilities of classes that are too well-rounded (Awakening Lahn, Succession Maegu, Awakening Mystic, Awakening Striker, and Awakening Sorceress), better define the roles of weak classes and increase their effort to reward ratios (Succession Guardian, Succession Valkyrie, Awakening Witch, Awakening Wizard, both specs of Woosa), and give a purpose and strength to outdated and unplayable classes (Awakening Ranger [revert all 2025 changes to Awakening Ranger please], Awakening Maehwa, Succession Corsair post-nerf, Awakening Nova post-nerf). I might've left a few weak/unplayable classes out because I quite literally do not see anything other than the meta anymore. This game has lost all of its flavor.
P.S. stop buffing classes that are already great in their respective areas with defined roles like Awakening Tamer and stop gutting core mechanics of classes like Awakening Ranger and Awakening Nova

To add to this; same weapons, virtually same armor, same crystals, same maps. PA changed nothing, besides the astronomical buffs to some classes. And some of them benefit greatly from the +12% evasion buff to gear. This is Season 5: Part 2, but somehow made even less playable.. Season 5: Part 1 was bad enough

I wish they hadn't touched awk maehwa at all. Everything they did during the last year made it less enjoyable to play than before, not more T-T

This Season should be put on hold and restarted. We have players with negative winrates (3/14) and players with multiple wins and like 3 losses sharing the same rank.
We even have players with 10/0 and they're well below players with 5/4. Like how is this right?

Mixture of placement matches (5x the points, and no points lost) and previous seasons ranking bonus. That in itself is absolutely no issue, and easily explained by the mechanics

that honestly doesnt sound right, the previous season ranking bonus. So if you theoretically trying out AoS for a first time you are already on a disadvantage...

Well. Yes. Same as in a lot of other ranked games to be fair, like even league. Its not a new concept, and supposed to make sure the higher ranked players face stronger opponents from the start as well, instead of bullying lower ranked ones. The season is long enough to catch up to this early imbalance normally, so it shouldnt be much of an issue

Awake Ranger and Awake Witch both feel your pain. The reply I get is, "Oh but you pull more trash", great, but I hate the way it plays now and Awake Ranger is worse in PvP which is what I used her for.

I haven't done any form of PvP on Awakening Ranger since the most recent class changes. She is the only class in the game that brings me any attachment to this game (and one of the only few I can play for extended periods of time post wrist injury since she has comfortable inputs, unfortunately since she requires mouse movement now I'm unable to play her at all).
Over the years, I kept telling myself that if I improved with her, the gap between myself and PA's favorite classes would begin to shrink. Then I reached my peak on her, and the gap only grew with the release of more and more broken classes, and with buffs to already strong classes. I hoped Awakening Ranger would get some love from the developers because at the time I only felt she needed slight tweaks to maintain relevance, and then the DR/Evasion changes came and we were somehow one of the only classes to gain a net negative. Then she got hit with multiple nerfs, and more broken classes were introduced to the game or spawned from irrational buffs. And finally, on my birthday this year, her entire playstyle was butchered by some booger-eating college kid working part-time for Pearl Abyss. It's hard to not be bitter when you're one of the only ones in your friend group unable to enjoy the game you all play together.
