Hello,

I'm here to talk about MY experience being a ranger main since EU launch, then succession ranger player since succession Launch.

Ranger is the gameplay i love, PvE or PvP (<-- We'll talk about this one later on, be sure).

I'm gonna have to talk about my own experience here for every aspect since there is close to no succession ranger playing this game except for Nodes (Note i won't talk about Nodes since i don't do them anymore).

First and before everything else : I thought the "Please try again later" thing was gone a few weeks ago : It's not, Flow: Call from Sky (Z+ Right Clic) still has it when the ground is just a little uneven you'll get the message (or not) , and the freefall leaving you as an easy prey, that's REALLY annoying.

PvE :

PvE wise, ranger gameplay seems pretty Okay, it's actually pretty cool to play, if your rotation isn't too huge, if so, you'll run out of stamina since everything on ranger is based on stamina (Thanks for the new spots for being small/dehkia style). Efficiency talking : not efficient, not bad, i'd say average/average low. 

We can acces almost everything in the game even if we're a bit weak to play in the highest areas (Orbita, i'm looking at you).

PvP : 

Here we go.

PvP in General :

- First thing, Why does the ranger still have a mana bar ? Since 90% of spells are based on our stamina, leading to a very quick and always the same end : our death because we run out of it. If we're getting chased and no one is here with us, we're just cooked.

- Second : Downsmash when ? As a succ ranger, we don't have any Downsmashs usable in game while in PvP, 1st one is making us use our only Iframe, second is making us use a chargeable spell which is also our best SA...

Mass PvP (talking about Roses or RBF since i don't do nodes anymore) : 

- Pretty good (i'll be honest S tier) class if you find a good place in the heights to hide and shoot from, you'll be an absolute monster can't say anything else.

- We have an incredible fire power/CC power if we're safe and can land everything.

- One on One :

Ranger can actually do something in a 1v1 setup, against some classes, not everyone though, some classes you'll just run, cause you know you can't do anything (Hello sorc, Musa, Ninja).

Still lacking a bit of protection but for this kind of setup it may work if you know what you're doing.

- AoS : 

Big topic here ! 
Succession ranger in AoS is actually... don't want to say Sh*t but kinda close, since there is no hiding spot up there, you can't be the monster as in Mass PvP, fine I'll play on land ! 
but i actually can't :/ On land we're lacking things, escape, movement, speed (?) to do something, as on 1v1 we can actually play and give a fight to our ennemies, in AoS you can't because we're way too unprotected and running out of stamina (already wrote about this upper) is happening every game everytime.

Since we can't do much if being chased the valid strategy is : Chase the ranger, then win the 3v2.

Won't say too much but if not the weakest one of the weakest class in AoS. Yeah, getting instuled/trashtalked because you're playing ranger succ is kinda .... Frequent. (I've heard things like "Why would you come in AoS in succ ?" or "Shit succ ranger we lost".

Conclusion :

Succession Ranger is for me, the forgotten class of this game, we're getting "updates" from time to time, but nothing really interesting or innovating nor anything impacting the gameplay. The class is actually close to be alright in PvE (Tbh I'm grinding as a Shai now cuz Ranger is Meh (but i'm missing my pewpews). But it's missing really important things in PvP (excepted Mass PvP of course - Please don't balance the class only looking at Mass PvP- ).
I'd really like the devs to take a good look at my class and do something for her, there are almost no Succession ranger players on the game ! and that's creating a huge problem since we don't have much support to learn the class for new/returning players (Try looking for a not outdated guide for succession ranger (Look for a PvP one for example) 99% of the content on succ ranger are in order :

We could really use a rework of the class to make it cool & enjoyable to play again, i'd love to cross roads with (succ) rangers as i did years ago where now i'm just surprised when i come accross one.

I’m really glad to see another Succ Ranger who feels the same way and was able to put it all into words so clearly.

There’s just so much hate on Succ Rangers right now. You can’t do AoS because people don’t know how to play with a ranger, and then they call you a noob for losing a 1v2. In large scale, people hate you because you “abuse height” and deal too much ranged damage. PvE is okay, but I still feel like we’re lacking proper AoE potential compared to other classes
