PA, make a brand new character, only auto path for every quest, if the auto path ends up being hyper stupid note the path start/finish and fix it. If the auto path gets you stuck on a rock/tree/blade of grass, node it and fix it. I could spend a month just writing down all the extremely stupid auto path errors, where my character is 30 yards in 1 direction from where I need to go, but the game will path on a full tour around the world to get there.
Or, and this might be a little silly, implement a "as the crow flies" to auto path, ignoring all terrain, roads, everying, it just goes in a straight line at your set destination.
Love those world tour autopaths to move 2 steps to the left
Also, remove NPCs from the center of the roads. Being artifically slowed down by them sucks. Espeically when it's something you can't even see. Like part of the road in Polly's forest.
