I think AFK fishing is a great idea. But for me it isn't "really" AFK fishing. Its me just sitting there while a watching movies or doing something on my other screens. Can get a bit boring. Makes sense if you leave it on overnight but during the day I want to fish AND go do something else ingame.
I know it defeats the whole object of AFK fishing becuase your not really AFK, I get that, but could we possibly discuss a system where we can leave a character fishing then log into a different character and go kill some mobs or quest or something? Something to think about and to discuss as a possible future update to the game.
It especially boring when you bring new events into the game to collect coins as fishing, certainly I have found, is the most efficient way of doing this so you are kinda locked into fishin allot of the time to get the rewards.

Running two characters at one time is going to rewuire updates to the game that would cause more problems than solve. So PA's other choice it to allow our workers to process/fish/lifeskill for us. Thus completely defeating the purpose of having actual lifeskills.
I dont think this idea is even a possiblity in the distant future, let alone right now.
There are dried fish nodes, PA could give workers at those nodes a chance to get event seals (those workers are fishing after all). I've gotten a lot of event seals from grinding, however I often grind at high mob density spots where the enemies aren't very tanky (to get Great Marni Stones). The difficulty is that most spots that provide good silver per hour (for mid/endgame players) also have tanky enemies, therefore low number of kills per hour. So, for example, if you're grinding Polly's Forest or Protty Cave for the Great Marni Stones, you'll get plenty of event seals. If you grind Elvia Orzecka for silver though, you won't get very many seals.

we already have that with bookshelves so it shouldnt be too much of an issue and would also fix the problem of people afking instead of playing the game since you will be able to be a lot more efficient with your time it might actually cause people to hot a mob or two and will boost income for pvpers instead of punishing them for doing the content they find fun without
