So im doing this academy stuff... Kill some young monster. Get a ship....go to kill it.

Find it. Stop, and aim the cannon.

Nope its now in front of the ship so have to go back, respostion the ship and stop and take aim....Nope its now at the back, so go back respostion the ship, aim and fire!

Does a bit of damage and now wait for ages to reload. Aim.... nope..... its back at the front... so stop, reposition..... etc etc.... blah blah blah.!

Its so tideous! boring! Frustrating! annoying!

Take a note from assassins creed black flag! make it you can fire the cannons while on the move with a wider firing arc and better shooting mechanics! 

What should take a couple of minutes takes half an hour to kill one thing! ITS BORING! ITS SLOW! 

PLEASE FIX ASAP!!!!!

You can make an "Improved Epheria Sailboat" or skip directly to Caravel.

You can also ask someone for help. Either to man the cannons for you or to bring their own boat.

Unfortunately he will never get that far. The boatlife in the early stage is a huge turn-off. His take for new players is accurate ngl. 

PA give carack to new players to do the content !!! 

Should have been given as temp class supplies or a second stage Frigate would work for those quest 

Or, y'know - party up. Besides, the entry-level sea monsters just sit there waiting for someone to come along and one-shot them.

By the way, you can also party with someone with a more advanced ship. 

Have people forgotten this is an MMO?  <looks over at latest anti-PvP thread> Well, not entirely, apparently, but in the wrong way. 

If only you saw what end game naval combat looked like. Ships so fast that, the network or engine cant keep up.

Its so fast that ships become invisible and the ocean starts to look like cannonballs are shooting at you.

I think the starting ship is kinda garbage but giving a carrack is insane, they should just allow you to shoot the cannons like a carrack on the first ship.
