NPC Dating is here. You can now express your affections towards your favorite NPCs.
Build Amity, confess your love, and await your destiny!
STEP 1: FIND YOUR LOVE
Love at first sight? If you have a crush on the following NPCs below, here’s your chance!

STEP 2: BUILD AMITY
If you have chosen who to express your feelings to, it’s time to build Amity. Show your affections to the NPC through Conversation or by choosing the Give Gift (Express Goodwill) option when you interact (R) with them.
You can increase Amity quickly by gifting Marketplace-registrable items to the NPC (only items worth less than 50 million Silver).
You can find out what the NPC’s “Favorite Items” are. If you gift such an item, you will gain even more Amity.
Gift giving will consume 5 Energy. When Amity the NPC reaches 1,000, the option to “Confess” your feelings will become available.
STEP 3: AWAIT YOUR DESTINY
After you confess, the NPC will need some time to think. You will receive an answer via an in-game mail (B) after the next maintenance.
If the NPC accepts your confession, you will become their lover and earn a special in-game title with a distinct color. However, your Amity with them will decrease by 10%.
If you are rejected, you will get nothing back and Amity will decrease by 5%.
STEP 4: NOTHING LASTS FOREVER
NPC Dating can be enjoyed by all adventurers. Whether you become a couple or not is calculated based on the ratio "How much Amity you have with that NPC"/"The total Amity of all the adventurers who confessed to that NPC the same week."
So, even if you don’t have the highest Amity out of the bunch you still stand a chance! However, the higher your Amity is with the NPC, the better your chances.
Sadly, your newfound relationship may only last a week. Other adventurers can continue confessing and your lover may choose someone else after the week is over. However, if you hold the highest Amity with that NPC, you will be able to maintain your relationship!
So keep on conversing and express your affection to keep your Amity up.
If the NPC decides to break up with you, you will receive a farewell in-game mail.
Keep in mind that you cannot confess to a new NPC while you are in still in a relationship.
Purpose of love?
If you succeed in winning 5 NPCs over to accept your confession, you will earn the special in-game title “Flirt.”
If you succeed in winning 10 NPCs over to accept your confession, you will earn the special in-game title “Heartbreaker. “
